Sting, Johnny B Badd, & Goldberg were outstanding. All 4 of these wrestlers would take time out of their day and never complained. Seeing the smile on the children's faces was the biggest pop of the evening. Thank You, Ric!

That is Bullshit, After a helluva match in Roanoke VA l ask for his autograph and he came out of character and said only if he could have my autograph.

People who cared about him always thought he is just living his gimmick. They always said Richard Flier lives like the character Ric Flair. Sadly everyone was wrong. I don’t think he really meant it to that level. But it’s been said often that Ric has always been a bit emotional. And Ric has said many times how his confidence has been crushed in the past, such as when he left WCW. And nobody else, including myself, totally get how various things have been so damaging to his confidence. I think so many of us see just how legendary his career was, and the immense amount of people who view him as the greatest to ever do it. But I think a big part of Ric making a deal of this when so many of us don’t get it is because it genuinely hits his confidence for some reason. And I think from an outsiders view that a lot of his self worth comes from his career and how he perceives he is viewed. And I think that this is the last mainstream relevancy he can have in WWE because of his age and when it goes away in his head he may feel like it’s all truly done. I don’t get why he makes it such a big thing but I think he’s entitled to feel how he does if he chooses to. There are two “issues” if you could call them such that I do take with his reactions to this. First, I always think it sucks when he makes a big fuss with WWE about things he’s upset about when considering his daughter works there. She’s obviously established at a level where these gripes probably don’t realistically impact what happens in her career. But she probably does face some blowback from various parties at work because of the fuss Ric raises over these things. Less so this opening and more so the big scenes he was making when Becky was using “The Man”. That was drama he was causing that affected the company’s main storyline and distracted from it for some people. And it probably hurt whatever friendship and/or relationship that Becky and Charlotte had and forced Charlotte into a crappy spot of taking up for the company and her friend or for her dad. And it was hard to get behind him being so upset about someone using his moniker to advance their career when you consider that he didn’t create the Nature Boy. He took that from someone else and skyrocketed it as he became what he did. So seeing him react so negatively for someone doing something with a legends character from the past, especially considering it didn’t go anywhere near as far as his did when he adopted the nature boy persona, really looked shitty. Second, the other issue I take with his handling of the opening is how disingenuous he always is about it. He always tries to pretend like he would understand them taking him off of it and say that it’s their choice, and says he knows it isn’t his time anymore. But everytime they ever have taken him off of it, as we just saw for one that seems like it was just a mistake in playing an old intro, he raises hell and gets up in arms about it. I’d respect him being upset with it a lot more if he’d stop pretending that he doesn’t care when he’s in it but then going crazy when he isn’t. If it matters to you I can get thay. Just own that the entire time over playing it both ways. I get why he wants it, and I’m sure I’d want it if I was him, but stop acting like you don’t care what they do when it’s evident that he does.
