This is so sad and i have to stop myself thinking one brother saw the other murdered before they were. They will always be together now, it's the ones that keep living will struggle. I have two sons and just can't imagine existing without them.

This story reminds me of a story I watched several years ago about an America family from San Diego who would travel every year to Baja to go dirt bike riding. One evening, as they were driving back home, they were pulled over by what looked like cops. They were taken hostage. This gang robbed them, put a bag over their head, told them to lay on the ground, and they were ready to shoot them execution style in the head, but they prayed. After a few hours, the robbers left, took everything, but they were alive. They had a difficult time getting help as no one on the town wanted to help except for 1 nice lady who helped them. By the grace of God, their lives was spared, but this unfortunately is all too common in Mexico. Tourists should be made aware of these risks.

If it wasn't for those 3 being thrown in that well the 4th body wouldn't be found. The police wouldn't of known about that person. Sad about the outcome! They must of been terrified. Poor souls...

They must not have followed the news reports when those Aztecs/Mexicans have killed a group of over 14 white family members a couple of years ago, slash and old Italian lady going to her daughter’s wedding, it was one of the hotel maids. Just to make a few. They killed two blacks in 2023, they also killed Malcom X grandson over there. I could keep going. The laundry list is long and endless

Australia has the most beautiful surfing beaches too, to go to Mexico is unimaginable. They lives cut short because of senseless killings, no value for human life, just kill. Their parents lost their two beautiful sons just unbearable.

Either way, really sorry about these young men. I absolutely do not recommend camping on the beaches to anyone. Stay at the Airbnb, hotel, or designated campgrounds. I'm a full-time RVer who's lived in Baja and on the mainland and have said this to all my friends. I wish someone had warned them. RIP.
This is why I would NEVER EVER go to Mexico! Even when I lived in Southern California!
I went to college in SD in the 90's. We'd cross the border every now and then, but I would not do that today.. My family and I never go to Mexico because of how unsafe it is with the cartel, corrupt cops, car jacking, etc... I assumed these poor guys got robbed or held at gunpoint. It's quite common. Very sad = (

The girl confessed it was her boyfriend and had evidence....She turned him in because he abused her and she had a child with him.....He confessed too her after he shot them .

Hi, Mexican here... the full story is that that they were lured by local robers to that beach because was beautiful and good for surfing, the Aussies and the American were warned by the local surfists "not to to go there because the narcos did deals there" they still went.
During the night the robers went to take their tires and truck but they fight back with a gun, the robers executed them. This was bigger than a simple robbery so they throw their bodies in the pit.
They discover all this because one of the robbers gave the phone of one of them to his girlfriend and when she turn on the phone, the police found her.
All this info was corroborated for the prosecutor's Office.

I'm A Hispanic born and raised in the US. My parents are from there but I would never go there to vacation. To many innocent tourists die there even those from other parts of Mexico. I use to go with my husband to Cancun but no more. Around the time I was vacationing there a Mexican teacher and his family were about to rent a car when he was gunned down in front of the hotel they were staying at. My husband is blonde hair green eyed so I told him I don't want him going alone anywhere down there while we were there. My heart breaks for all of these young men. May God be with all and their families.
