Hey dude, thank you for your video on this, so a couple of things just to confirm and clarify, today I put on the k1 Facebook groups the “painted” multi colour print that we were all wanting, we didn’t see that on day one, and I’ve also shot a second video which is in the edit. You’re right regarding the visas, I was also in China in September last year to tour the factories. This year I was invited to host the anniversary which is a job that I was happy to do having used Creailty printers for the past 8 years. The print model shown here is a pre production model. I’m not exclusively working for it with anyone but as a content creator I look for opportunities when they arise. When I travelled here I was to host and look at the v3 plus, then an image was leaked and I was made aware, so the first look was planned that morning to show off their new product.
I’m also seeing Bambu, BTT and ELEGOO while I’m in China. Given the short time with the machine wasn’t able to judge or benchmark this in any decent detail, the next iteration could have some subtle differences but we can agree the bones are there. Honestly and seeing it in person it’s clear that they are providing the market with “multi colour bigger” which is what the majority of people have been asking Bambu for. Creality has provided a printer that might sit well inside that void. However, innovators like Bambu will have several machines in dev and most likely for that last 2 years. You’re unlikely to see anything from Bambu that isn’t 100% perfect so when they are ready to drop something they will. The K1 and Max is on sale for the 10th celebration but isn’t discounted to rid stock, they are manufacturing the k1, max and c right now, there is still a demand worldwide. Also the road map is to also have CFS on k1, max and c inside of this year, again how that information is being delivered is the tricky part. I’ll be running an update to that video in the coming days so that multi colour print you wanted to see will be shown :) don’t forget to subscribe:) ❤

You need to stop embarrassing yourself, nobody ever said it was a bamboo killer, it’s just another option for people. You’re just sounding like a bamboo fanboy.
First you said it was fake, that was wrong, now you’re trying to convince people that it doesn’t print in multiple colors.
I say the more printers out there the better, it brings competition more choices and prices down, a win, win for everyone.

All good, just had to put in my 2 cents. I would like to leave on more thought. All printer aren’t necessary clones of each other but the next evolution of the technology. I was using XYZprinting Da Vinci 1.0 pro printer 10 years ago, it had wifi, would send prints over the air, had nfc, partial auto leveling and was fully inclosed, not to mention they had a model that even printed in millions of colors using inkjet technology and all before bamboo was even a thing.
I’m happy to see new printers come to market that give me choices, I also must say I do like bamboo but find it’s build volume to small and it’s price a bit to high, at the very least include shipping at those prices.

I am the last person to recommend Creality for anything, as they should have stopped producing the shit show that is the Ender 3...like forever ago LOL. However they are doing something somewhat smart and not buildings a X1C clone, not entirely. Do notice the build plate size is 350x350, an actual build plate size that can tackle just about anything you throw at it. That is actually competing with bambu, instead of building another clone, they built something bigger. My only gripe is they cloned the AMS system instead of making something bigger. Like if someone came out with a 350 build plate, Core X/Y, AND a 6 color MMU system, that literally would be a "Bambu Killer."
I have a Voron 2.4 350 and love it, only a few things I print won't actually fit on it and go on the Neptune 4 Max instead.
You can technically build your own "Bambu killer" printer from Voron with a 2.4 350 and a 8 or even 12 Enraged Rabbit Carrot Feeder MMU system.

    • @_SHaDoW6_
      @_SHaDoW6_ 9 месяцев назад +1

Not sure they cloned the AMS, I mean, how else are you supposed to do it? Every company coming forward is making the same type of system, why reinvent the wheel.
Must say, creality’s CFS is pretty nice with the digital screen reading temp and humidity, plus the unit number 1/2/3/4

Everything your mentioning is the same common issues with any printer first coming out. People already expect it to not be perfect at first, but surely they will eventually fix the issues. Bambu Lab is just way too over priced and they need the competition! Not to mention Bambu requires user's to upload their designs to their cloud! That reason alone is enough for me to look at more affordable printers that are half the quality!

Bambu requires you to upload your g-code to the cloud-- not the model. While an argument can be made that the X1C + AMS is a bit overpriced, the A1 mini and A1 are an absolute steal.

    • @johngelnaw1243
      @johngelnaw1243 9 месяцев назад

@@sunriseshell That's certainly not what Bambu's agreement says, and I doubt Anycubic's does either. But they DO have to have rights to store the sliced model on their servers, and they have to have rights to your model to store / display it on Makerworld-- Printables has almost the exact same text on their agreement.

K2 Plus sounds great, especially knowing that Creality is changing their slicer to a Bambu/Orca format. Who knows. If the price is right and the kinks are fixed, I might just get the K2 Plus.

When it can filament change, it can multicolor! Of course the color only changes layer by layer in the purge tower. How should it be otherwise?
Yes creality had a problem with the extruder on the K1 but they fixed it, they send new extruders for free to all first version customers and from that on they shiped the K1 with the new extruder.
I still have an Ender 5 plus and after 5 years and several thausend hours of printing it still works fine, without changing a single part.

*So, I normally don't leave reviews... But the are some good and "ehh" points*
    1. You have a GREAT point about the example being multi colored and not being a multicolored print. But you said it's a floor model and floor models aren't supposed to work properly.
    2. I would definitely gamble and get the Creality K2 Plus(I am highly Creality biased... But can conversate maturely. I have 4 of their printers) Creality making a printer this size out the gate is dope.
    3. Their 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY just happened. That's why the same is happening. The "Ali express website" thing was corny foreal. You literally didn't even read the headliner on the website.
    4. Bambu Lab HEAVY STEPPED their way into the game. They have an amazing OS and their slicer is dope. I haven't even used it and I vouch. They came into the game and not only revolutionized it, but changed the slicing abilities. Like what. They have a parallel to a STL File.
    5. I do agree, this is not a Bambu lab killer. They got sure secured their spot. Very well thought out
    6. No such thing as "too many printers". Do you think everyone who has a printer has the same set up? Not everybody is using the printers for the same reason. That's what makes their variety great. You get something for everything.
    7. Waiting might be smart... But imma get it 😁
    Good video 💪

I was one of those unlucky individuals that bought the K1 Max around the holidays.
I mean Micro Center price drop to 699.00 USD .
My shipping was 6.00 in gas for the printer, some extra filament and well you know "stuff".
I knew at the time that there was a new K1 in the works plus another printer to be announced at the 10th anniversary live event.
I want the K2 for the size and the heated chamber plus I like some of the other changes.
My K1 Max has been a great unit, sure it had a filament path issue and I'll likely change out the bed .
But for the size , speed , quality , price I can't complain.

I'm doing a "wait and see" approach.
The "clone" printer manufacturers have a long history of using thier customers as Beta testers. I'm going to wait, first watch the RUclipsrs that get sample printers, and then hear what's happening on Reddit. Right now everyone is pretty much speculating, we just don't know much yet.
If it's a great printer, then after a few months once the major issues are identified and fixed it could be a great time to buy.

The K2 plus is gonna be released in june? they've got months. Everything is a gamble. Who tf cares about the slicer, tell elegoo to improve their firmware, creality created a well established product in the K1 series. Bambu's just been hyped up does not mean they are fantastic. Creality has a wide range. is that a problem? Again the k1 is on sale because it's creality's 10th anniversary jesus do ur research. It's not like bambu is not hyped up. 'It's just printing one layer at a time and it's only printing one colour...' Thats kinda how 3d printers work and also if u actually watched the video you would know that the colour change is in the first layer? And that part of the video is not the first layer.

Definitely a bambu competitor... bambu's R&D/product development is consistently heading in the wrong direction too. Coming out with the wrong products (see x1e, a1)... also wtf are you talking about "it's filament change, not multi-color).. all multi-color is filament change.
Btw every printer has bugs when it first comes out. Bambu x1 did too.
Another thing that wins the whole argument: open source. Now there were some dudes who made open source firmware for bambu x1, but it's only x1, not p1 series.
Last 2 things.. 1. Orca is better than bambu slicer and will undoubtedly be compatible with the k2
And 2 creality isn't "onown for bed slingers" the ender 5 is just as prevalent.
