Nice!! Have you seen the 3rd gen Golden Companion scooters yet? THOSE are NICE!! I have an '11 2nd gen Companion II and its still like new because I only use it 3-4 times a year to attend larger car shows. 1st 3rd gen I find used I'm going to upgrade!!
Not seen one in person, Yet! It looks like the GC240 has stayed with the version 2 style but the GC330, GC440 and now the CG540 have had a face lift. Thanks for watching
We have about 15 sports here for hire in Fuerteventura. All important from the Uk. Great scooter. But the front panels fall off very easy. Customers bumping into things. Now use double sided tape to fix. Tyres wheels are expensive don’t seem to last. More expensive then my van tyres. The parts I remove before they go out for hire. Are the bottom front basket. It breaks putting your feet on there. The rear back handle with build in rear light. Remove this too. It’s very weak when lifting into a car etc. When it breaks your left with the rear light dangling by the wire. I notice your model doesn’t have a rear light also the seat post doesn’t have the build in spring .. Like any other mobility scooter it as it’s plus and minuses points.. panel’s and wheel’s is all we have to replace. So it’s still gets a thumbs up from me..
Hi and thanks for watching. The sport is a great scooter but like you said does have is plus and minuses. I wish it was 350 lbs weight capacity and not 325!! Yes tires (wheels) are pricey and can wear if the front wheels are not aligned correctly. As you are renting these things out wear and tear is going to be considerably more, and you have to expect that with rental scooters. Wait until one of the transaxles gives out on you, you'll think the tires are cheap compared to replacing one of those. As for broken shrouds, storage basket and handles, that sounds like a customer problem to me and not a scooter failing. The rear handle is made to lifting the back section only not the whole scooter, (customer mishandling) or the customers are dropping the rear section out of the vehicle when transporting. Sounds like they are stored outside, and it's the UK it rains a lot there (I know) 😁 All scooters are fair weather devices and should not be driven or stored where moisture can get to them.

We have a lot of go go an pride stuff here in the UK to be honest i find they suffer rusting quickly
