tyertil No no,get on some kind of merry go round, roundabout kind of thing, that will surely trick your brain into perceiving a stereo effect, trust me i'm a Scientician.
Steve CUDDZILLA He influenced my drumming quite a bit.. it was sad.. Randy got a raw deal. Eric Carr from Kiss was a similar, sad and taken way too early type of raw deal.. R.I.P. great drummers both
There has not been a drummer with pure style and showmanship and stage presence for Ozzy...since Randy Castillo! Sorry, he has had some good players thru the years....but no one matches up to Randy Castillo!
I saw Ozzy in 1986. Amazing show. I remember him asking the crowd to clap and I remember him pacing back and forth on the stage. Jake was amazing. I was a huge fan of his. That was a great era to live in.
It aggravates me how little camera time that Jake E. Lee received in this video. I mean damn, he wrote this classic guitar masterpiece and you barely see him on camera for more than a second at a time. His stage presence is more attention getting than Ozzy and that's probably why he was barely covered by the camera.
I Love Ozzy with Black Sabbath & The Master Guitarist Randy Rhoads & Jake e. Lee and Zakk & all the others my point being I Love everything Ozzy :-) !!!
Roger Rios Thank you. I wondered who the bassist was here but I knew it was not Rudy Sarzo. What is Phil Soussan doing these days, anyone know? Deep tragedy losing Randy Castillo the way we did. I also had forgotten Randy was drumming for Ozzy back in the Jake E. Lee era. I seem to recall Tommy Aldridge and Rudy Sarzo split with Ozzy and hooked up with guitarslinger Tony McAlpine and vocalist Robert Rock for McAlpine Aldridge Rock Sarzo (M.A.R.S.) for the supergroup album Project:Driver. I used to own that album. Would have been a cool concert to see...if they ever toured. Tony McAlpine was a serious shred beast. Tommy and Rudy were both at the top of their game. Anyway. Gotta love the huge 80s hair in this video. Even if it was all lip synched.
Wow! I haven't heard before that supergroup with Tony McAlpine, i'll check it. For Phil Soussan I just know he is still active for one instructional video he uploaded in RUclips. Thank you very much sir
Excellent beat,Awesome vocals, everything came together when their perfect time,We love u Ozzy,Totally awesome songs,Bass guitar was very good as well...Thank U Ozzy for the timeless classic music video !!!

Just a little fyi😁✌Jewels
people sometimes I feel old and is something like maybe happen to every men when we hit the 40s., I am 45 now and i don't listen this song for maybe 15 years and make me cry remembering when I was a teenager listen this music every days , now I am old but I am happy to be born in the 70s and enjoy this real music because I don't think this style and quality of guitarist will be back ever.
Saw this Tour Tampa Florida Tampa Stadium fuking loud Jakie being the rock God of guitar he gave up his rights to the music to get to play on tour, Sharon was tough
During Ozzys glam phase. Sharon Osbourne managed him around then, right? I can almost imagine a scene straight out of spinal tap occurring, whereby she's telling him what costumes to wear lol
This is a sick video for hardcore fans only I love this this is incredible the small venue and the animation this is a high-quality video that deserves millions of views
Saw the first blizzard tour, with Ozzy, Randy rhoads, Rudy sarzo Tommy Aldridge at the tower theatre (2000 seater) with Motorhead opening the show! I was so close I grabbed one of those fringe things off of Ozzy's sleeve;!
@thefonzkiss sorry, I dig daisley and kerslake and they got a $#!+ deal, but the first blizzard tour ran from Sept 80 to Sept 81 with Aldridge and Sarzo, and that's when I was them.
Timothy Hale they have been trying to erase his history since he left Ozzy...there was probably more film of him but Sharon had it removed...notice how EVERY other band member gets a clear face shot?..coincidence?.. Methinks not...
My guess, he got writing credits and more $$$$ on Ultimate Sin. Somebody did not like it and this was the beginning of the end in Ozzy’s band so no close ups.
One of Ozzy's bigger hits that has since been deleted due to the fact that the bassist Phil Soussan actually wrote this song. Ozzy & Sharon Osbourne pretend this song does not exist due to the fact they owe Soussan a substantial amount of money for royalties. An all-time frontman Ozzy may be, but he has never been a songwriter as per sé, it's just his wife & manager is a shrewd & ruthless businesswoman who would have new members sign a clause which gave Ozzy all rights & songwriting credits to their material (see the case for the previous LP 'Bark At The Moon' for example). At most he would sing random melody lines over the top of music already written (mostly consisting of 'ooh baby baby' etc.etc.), then it was up to the bassist (Geezer Butler in Sabbath, Bob Daisley in Blizzard Of Ozz) to write all the lyrics & occasionally the odd line from Ozzy's scat-singing sessions would be used as a jumping point for the lyrics. That's how he writes songs. His only contribution is in the vocal melody arrangements. It's a shame he ignores 'The Ultimate Sin' album in particular as it's probably his last great solo album. But Zakk Wylde must take credit here for denying this great album too! Ozzy was playing the epic 'Killer Of Giants' live for the first time since it's '86 release when Gus G was in the line-up. He was respectful to Ozzy's entire body of work, not just the Randy Rhoads era. Now Zakk is back this album will be ignored again. But perhaps his playing style wouldn't suit anyway, and we all know Ozzy can't sing in this range anymore :/
You couldn't be more wrong... Phil Soussan was credited as co-writer with Ozzy for this song and received all the royalties he was due. The problem was that Phil Soussan 'forgot' to mention to Ozzy that he didn't own the song... the original version was written by the Overland brothers while in the band Wildlife with Phil Soussan.
Because when you sing, the words are always the same, instead when you talk you have to think of what you say: it's a problem of executive functions...he is dislexic, too
If anyone got the Chevy Silverado add where it was the one guys voice speaking as 2 ppl at the same time he kinda sounded like Vegito trying to sell a Chevy.
Definitely not live. Not only is Randy hitting cymbals and drums out of sync with the video (nearly every shot), but watch/listen to Ozzy at 3:40 and 3:57. Still cool to watch.
my left ear truly enjoyed this song
Here's a pointless tip, half way through the song turn your head phones around.
+dropbearattack I tried that and the song was backwards all of a sudden
tyertil Wow! I didn't think of that,i almost shat a fuck.
+dropbearattack maybe itl be fixed if i hang upside down

Jake always had the best stage presence nobody looks cooler than him on stage and he sounds amazing.
Randy
Jake
Zakk
Top 3 ozzy guitar players forever
my right ear feels lonely
man... i know right
Thought it was just me!! Lol! Was about to scrap my earbuds!
Randy was a beast on drums. RIP
JAKE E. LEE ROCKS!!
Ahhhh...the good old days
Rest in peace Randy Castillo(Drummer)

Scott Uher i also love randys drumming thank you nikki sixx for recommending randy to oz
I met Randy outside a bar on Melrose Ave. in L.A. years ago. Such a nice guy. R.I.P. brother Randy.
There has not been a drummer with pure style and showmanship and stage presence for Ozzy...since Randy Castillo! Sorry, he has had some good players thru the years....but no one matches up to Randy Castillo!
They needed better video of Jake E. Lee. He deserves more recognition for Shot In The Dark.
Why? He didn't write it!
@@starchildmoonbeam he wrote the riffs and solos which is what the song is remembered for
The ending solo that jake pulls out is so fucking badass
LOOKS LIKE THE GENIUS ON GUITAR JAKE E LEE AND RANDY CASTILLO= THEY ROCK

This was a great lineup. I preferred Randy but Jake was a great replacement. Sharon did him WRONG.
Cock rock Ozzy phase.
Wow. As good as playback
Such a wonderful classic
ozzy osbourne getting the crowd to clap is a mood
i love this music
Good for Sharon to stand in for a sick Ozzy
golden years.

there's great potential rock music from other countries and the U S A Ozzy is awesome
the sound is crazy,!!!!
A classic that should make you wanna rock forever
I remember watching and recording this live on tv all those years ago. I've still got the VHS tape somewhere.

Wow i've never seen Ozzy so sober!
ya think.....I dunno, that looked like lip sync man.
EroomYrrah all stuff on the Tube was live. Probably not used to having many metal acts on.
if this was him sober I'd love to see him drunk.
you'd meet 3 or 4 different OZZY'S in those days
Jack1138 He wasn't sober, he was smoking a lot of crack & eating a lot of McDoanalds & KFC during this phase.
Whatever bass Phil is playing sounds good....in my left ear lol
Amazing
Yeah ozzy
Jake is the man.

THE PRINCE OF DARKNESS EVER ☆☆☆☆
Jake was my favorite of all. They really fucked up when they lost him.
Saw this Tour Tampa Florida Tampa Stadium fuking loud Jakie being the rock God of guitar he gave up his rights to the music to get to play on tour, Sharon was tough
My favorite Ozzy line up
rokkenron badass! Dont know to many that feel this is there fav line up
Id feel the same. Only if bob daisly was on bass
Blizzard band is the best but my second would be the 1988 lineup with Geezer butler
This was when ozzy looked like a 40 year old lady
In his "GILF Era"
During Ozzys glam phase. Sharon Osbourne managed him around then, right? I can almost imagine a scene straight out of spinal tap occurring, whereby she's telling him what costumes to wear lol

Años buscando está cancion...!! Y la otra es Dreamer. Un fenómeno Ozzy Osbourne. Gracias....!!!
Clapping hands in rythm was too hard for Ozzy, in this wonderous night.

Amazing...thanks for posting......Ozzy is a total pro here.....
LOVE YOU OZZY MISTIC MAN AND FIGHT OF THE WORLD. SHOT IN THE DARK
If the guitar licks are not doctored with Studio help and relaid into the video--- that is some jaw-dropping live licks
Did they not like Jake E Lee? Or not have any cameras on the right?
Chipps Chippendale hahaha....yes thank you, because I ❤Jake!
+Chipps Chippendale
I know, right!? He's easily my favorite guitar player out of all of Ozzy's shredders!
I thought the same thing. He got no love here.

Randy Castillo smoking them drums! THE MAN!
I saw Phil Sousson two nights ago. He’s playing in Last in Line with Vivian Campbell and Vinnie Appice. He looked and sounded great.
Essa música transformou minha vida. Rsrs
Best lineup!
Ozzy is damn good
Randy was great
Jake's riff makes this song
Not nearly enough Jake on screen.
I agree! Whoever edited this video sucks.
a man ahead of his time. Auto tune before auto tune.
Phil Sousane! One of my dads very good friends
Gotta love Brit' editing prowess. "Wait! There's a guitar player!!?"
only one OZZIE rock on man 👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👹👹👹👹👹
The Jake E Lee band featuring Slobby Osbourne on vocals.
😆 Hey now, chubby blonde Ozzy is cute.
Fucking Jake E Lee! Rockin that purple burst Charvel!
Oh my, this is actually the Jake E. Lee stuff, not Zakk Wylde's. I saw the SITD vid around '89, Zakk is the axeman.
jake wrote the whole album
My fantasy Ozzy Osbourne lineup is Randy Rhoads, Zakk Wylde, Geezer Butler, Tommy Clufetos, and Adam Wakeman.
low sound!
Ooh shit, now I have to buy another headphone!!!
Ozzy is the living proof that man can sustain too many shit!!
Ozzy is absolutely amazing but why can he sing clearly but not talk clearly
I saw a recent interview (on Howard Stern perhaps) where his speech was fine. Commenters suggested maybe his doctors switched out his medication.
Because when you sing, the words are always the same, instead when you talk you have to think of what you say: it's a problem of executive functions...he is dislexic, too

I only watched this for Jake E Lee - was very disappointed...
me too
Ditto; It's a shame since there does not seem to be a lot of footage of Jake playing with Ozzy
Damn sounds exacly like studio version
buen clasico
Definitely not live. Not only is Randy hitting cymbals and drums out of sync with the video (nearly every shot), but watch/listen to Ozzy at 3:40 and 3:57. Still cool to watch.
Imfeeling all lopsided in me head
great video! I wish the audio was better, but loved it! can anyone tell me who is playing bass?
Phil Soussan is on bass.
depressing because i met him on the tour after this and he was a mess,...but he overcame all the bullshit,...I fuckin love Ozzy!
Jake's solo : studio.ruclips.net/user/videonWmjq6TLHZ4/edit
Jake E Lee... case closed!
Does it get our of synch towards the end?
Three paces to the left...three paces to the right...and repeat
The days before autotune and playing to back tracks became the norm...excellent performance
Ladies and gentlemen mister Jake e Lee ,the best , Ozzy and Sharon bastards ,
Jake is low in the mix...was ozzy tellin us somethin?...even that low in the mix,
Jake still sounds great....
Why did Sharon hat Jake so much?
Where’s the original vid anyone got it
This sucks but hey thanks mtv from keeping the cool video off of you tube
Sharon is trying to delete this album from Ozzy's discography!!!
Oh crap, is that why I can't find the official MV on his channel? "Not again… SHARON!" 🙄
jools holland in the presentation..
...when sharon is your tour manager...
how come we cant find the original MTV video?? fuck
