When I was in Mexico ❤in the evenings they would have venders in the plazas, the painters used spray paint and make the neatest pictures of planets and space, they were sooooo
Having done a fair bit of spray paint art myself I can say that all 3 of your mediums you used for texture were virtually identical to a certain degree. Newspaper and brown paper bags give different textures, and using sponges give even more options and textures. I’ve also tried oil painting techniques and had amazing results. Then upping you galaxy game by creating stencils to add ships or other objects is an advanced method you can use. I’ve even done this and hand painted art with acrylic paints over the design. At the end of the day art is art. And you never learn what you like or what you can do unless you try it. Art is never a failure, each piece is a lesson. It also helps to have a creative mindset and a vision for the piece. I always figure if I can get about 90% of what I’m guessing it’s a success.
I said the same thing about the planet paintings. "Looks so easy" I did it step by step and man, I can probably sell my first one. It is amazing. Family and friends are like, "you did not paint that" well yes I did. It's easy and comes out great.
When you told your audience, if you see something and think, oh I can make that, TRY IT!!!! That reminded me of something my physical therapist told me, "I can't is code for I won't"
Wow that literally was so unexpected! It’s amazing what a background can do to the planets! You’re so raw and real and your personality made it even more fun to watch the process. Thank you!
Dude, those came out really spectacular! I love doing spray paint, art and planets and stars are what I like to do the most of. You make it look so much fun.❤❤❤
You friggin crack me up! Just like real life. You're fearless and that's great! No mistakes in art, right? I absolutely love that you're into doing whatever. That's how art SHOULD be! I'm glad you're using a respirator. So much free-form! Loose, intuitive, make a mistake, whatever, cover it up. I absolutely love your process in all of the videos I've seen. I admire your process so much! It's also my process. Just GO with NO fear.
Hello Trisha i seen a street artist do this in Old San Juan Puerto Rico and it was amazing i'm gonna Buy some cans of paint and try this Wish me luck takes care greetings from Puerto Rico
So satisfying when done. And can also fix when dry if not happy with something. I recently started getting back into my art and this is a blast. You did a great job. I have a circle coffee table im gonna do. 🤙
Mesmerized watching these fly guys in the 80's Mexico just lovin' stylin' churnin' these galaxies out on the sidewalk. I still have one of the two I bought.
That was amazing. How those “planets” turned out looking as they did, even long demential, was quite a surprise. But, it was truly amazing. Thanks for your work and d your great attitude.
One of my absolute favorite videos you’ve ever posted! It had so many great moments and it came out SO awesome. I’ve also wanted to try this for some time but chickened out every time. Thank you for sharing!
Vegas years ago...about 25. Spray paint street art with newspaper! IDK...layered and peeled as spraying and cut layers with a razer blade! Coolest thing ever watched. Paid $20 for the solar system! Watched him create it in 10 minutes! Framed and still have.
You are amazing! I have literally watched your last 4 videos in a row simply mesmerized. I think you've taught me not to be afraid and just go for it! Sometimes the outcome is way better than you ever could have imagined. Love it!
If you put three or four pair of gloves on, you can just take them off at your hands won’t get stuck trying to put new ones on when they’re sweaty. I’m a plumber and use this method all the time FYI.
😮😮OMG it turned out amazing. I can't believe it was the first time you have tried it 😊 you really do make me want to go outside my comfort zone when I watch your videos. Not to mention you always make me laugh, your so fun to watch. With love from Australia 🦘🦘
This is badass!! We're starting a small Reptarium with an Educational Center. We have got a LOT of experimenting with enclosure decor coming up. Can't wait to try some of your ideas.
Awesome work man! Next time dry the planets before you cover them. Also, don't be too heavy on the paint. If it's too wet, you won't get the desired effects from your bags, paper etc. These are fun to paint.
Yup....save all your Walmart bags....i use them too.....i have a bunch of them laying around......i also use them to make mountains.....give it a try .....its purdy cool
If you hold the white straight up and apply light pressure you can what they call poop out stars. Some will come out as a fine spray and some a tad bigger giving depth to the stars. 🤙 Also you did good on the shooting stars and can also get a small can of white paint from local hobby shop for rc cars as it makes it easy to fo comets. Just turn the can upside down and tap the nozzle one quick time on the painting and youll get a commet with a tail. I always try on the side on newspaper to make sure angled just right.
@@DuncanCustomAirbrush used whatever I had at first. 🤣 And I use to be into and paint hobby grade rc cars. Found this and have been able to get some creativity out.
I saw a guy doing these kinds of paintings in Vegas a loooong time ago, and it blew my mind! Then a few years later a friend told me i should try doing it cuz i was sorta gettin into painting at the time, so a couple videos watched later i gave it a shot, and, it came out decent, but it was also super fun! And a lot less expensive to get into opposed to oils, brushes, canvas, etc...I tried to incorporate the techniques into doing other than just planets n stuff, and found i think a "style" of painting that i would do a lot...I tried to sell my art to at least pay for the supplies, and, it was a lot easier to do that as well because theres a whole lot more people that can buy a framed posterboard painting for 20 to 50 bucks, but when i did a huge oil 3 canvas, i spent like somewhere around $400 or more for supplies, plus hours and hours of time, couldn't find anyone that was willing or able to support even my cost let alone time, so, i kinda quit painting...that was like, i duno, 10 to 15 years ago...i might paint again, someday...
Try doing this but using the airbrush only. I did two small planets on a small canvas doing only airbrush paint and the magazine effect you got to do it quick before the airbrush paint dries but they turned out awesome.
I did this for 13 years performing at fairs and festivals in Florida. 2000-2013 Back in the day when Krylon paint was $1.60 a can. Once the cans hit $3.50 each, I was done. We would spend over $500 for paint per show then. People could afford $25 for a 16x20. Now, I see artists charging $80-$100 for the same size. It's not an easy job but it's sooooo much fun to do. "Fire", yep, we set them in fire to set the first color carving. Our show name was "Celestial Art". I went solo and was the "Spray paint Chic". Still have many fans check in with my paintings off their walls. Good times.......❤❤❤
After you replied to me, saying you were making a video, I came right here and Wow, I'm so glad I did!!! This is just awesome!!! Thank you for showing/sharing this technique, I love it! You don't make mistakes only happy accidents!! 😊
I have 3 amazing landscape scenes with waterfalls and mountains that I had made and purchased from a street vendor on the strip in Vegas. I get a new one each time I go. They are so amazing. You should try mountains and waterfalls next! I tried it once and it turned out pretty “okay” haha.
I love listening to this character have fun; what a big kid!

I have stood and watched street artists do this, but I couldn't wrap my head around it. It's so incredible!! Thank you! You are hilarious by the way.
I'm astounded at the end result but definitely still giggling from watching your antics. Such fun! Thanks!

Hi! Thank you for the awesome tutorial! looking forward to doing it myself. Quick question: What do you spray on it to make it shiny and smooth?
The last thing I sprayed on was Rustoleum gloss clear coat

Now I call it art. 😊

Good job!!! I love the reveal
Tumbler next I want to see if you can figure out a way on a tumbler ❤
You aren't allowed to play with fire anymore! 🤣
Especially around all those cans of spray paint.
I love it!!!❤ I've been meaning to do this about 2 yrs now. Glad you tried it first!😂
I love doing spray paint art! I really need to do it again.
You should!

Wow that came out pretty dang good. Thanks for sharing 👍👍💯🔥
Nice job man :) not bad for the fist one. Stay Awesome Bro!
Cool to see you still keeping an open mind after being a pro!
I've done a few planet pieces I love doing them
That was awesome!!
Thank you!!
Very very nice for a first time 😁
I've been trying my hand at small scale planet paintings, but now I want to take that leap to a poster board.
I actually have a video coming up where I do this with spray paint on an XBOX gaming controller!👍😉

New to the channel and it was a good time! I have to try this! I used to see them do it in TJ jaja!
