Pop used to say "The thing about young folks is you can talk at them until you're blue in the face but the way they learn is by doing" Will is young, strong, and curious. There's lots of time for him to ask questions and reason out which direction to take.
I homestead, and you are right, being how small the cabin is, the woodstove will, I'm sure, probably be to hot in there for will , and if not it wouldn't take much to insulate ,and the only thing mentally I see with will is mentally STRONG, you and Jen are great friends to Will

Imho some of the comments can be pretty messed up. Even my own well wishing comments for you have someone who feels the need to add some nasty reply. I commend you both for what you do. I’m telling you that damp just gets in your bones….I’m never in a worse mood then if my socks get wet… It’s impossible to get warm if you can’t get dry!! I totally agree. And as small as that space is regardless of how well insulated it is a wood heat will heat it up quickly.
