Excellent support. Helped via email. I finished the installation of the new version of Android 7.1.2. It works slower, OF COURSE, but what do you expect from a multi-year old tablet. At least now you have options to add some new apps from Store-Play.
Installation is successful (thanks!), but like so many others, the performance of the updated tablet is really poor. I understand you have a stock answer: That the RAM usage is very low and I should uninstall or disable unused apps. I have done this with a clean, "almost empty" installation, and with just the bare minimum services running, about 680MB of a total 890MB is consumed -- over 75%. I don't know if this is 'normal', but it isn't obvious to me what else I can disable to get decent performance! At the moment, I can use it as a dedicated Kindle reader (waiting an ice age for it to load up a book), and basically nothing else.

I had the same issue, turns out I installed the firmware for the 3g version when I had the wifi version. After I reinstalled the correct firmware it worked fine.
I have this same tablet, but several apps stopped working because the version is very old, and no more updates are available, several games and apps no longer exist on Google Play :(

@@MobileRepairingTutorial I have the exact same issue. After odin says everything is fine and that it has installed twrp (which happens instantly), it it boots into 3e (its original system recovery). Have tried with several versions, nothing works.
I was able to do it eventually by disabling the auto reboot option in odin and then directly starting twrp with volume up and power (I think I shut it down first, I don't remember exactly). I think it will keep booting into its original system recovery if you let it boot once normally. The boot process somehow changes the boot loader parameters, I assume. So don't let it boot normally after installing twrp! That's essential.

And if TWRP dont start but start android system recovery if i pussh power + vol down? I hawe trayed 2 times install custom recovery in download mod is custom software flag: yes odin show pass succes1/ errors0. I hawe checked update show message system are modyfied updates are not disponible.

@@MobileRepairingTutorial I have the exact same issue. After odin says everything is fine and that it has installed twrp (which happens instantly), it it boots into 3e (its original system recovery). Have tried with several versions, nothing works.
I was able to do it eventually by disabling the auto reboot option in odin and then directly starting twrp with volume up and power (I think I shut it down first, I don't remember exactly). I think it will keep booting into its original system recovery if you let it boot once normally. The boot process somehow changes the boot loader parameters, I assume. So don't let it boot normally after installing twrp! That's essential.

I have the older version: Galaxy Tab 10.1 and I'm in minute 3.04 of the video: where he is rebooting the tablet. My tablet does not respond to the "power button and volume down" command. Can you please help? Does this work on my old version tablet?
