Felt bad for Mark, wasn’t at his best.Like his sportsmanship when in loosing, he congratulated Ronnie at the conclusion of the match. When he played his ex Reanne Evans in a mixed match,he tried to shake her hand at the start but she wanted no part of it.Yet when she made a great shot he knocked the table twice to signify his approval. To me he seems like a good guy.Another great episode Cesar, should have twice as many subscribers, best snooker channel going.✌️
Haven't seen that match before, so thanks for the great visual summary to Cesar at first. Excellent editing, as usual. That aside - Ronnie really punished Mark hard for every mistake, that was brutal.
I feel like while the replacements are always frustrating (wonder why they still don't have a better way to do it), in this frame they were pretty spot on. Except for replacement #2 - none of the starting positions were far off enough to make a *significant* difference to the end result.
Yeah it's strange isn't it. You would think they would have some sort of laser tracking system or something. A projector overlaying the position of the balls maybe?
What I don't get is why we accept anomalous happenstance as part of the game, but human error, a la the referee, is consider highly offensive to all. I feel it's just part of the game and a disagreeable ruling by the ref should be brushed off as easily as a fluked red.
In any difficult situation the referee could mark the position of the cueball on the cloth with a chalk pen and his marker. It's absolute nonsense to do the replacement with the help of screen shots, that's never 100% accurate.
Off 4 cushions with power and find me a robot that can play that shot consistently!!! When you hit hard into the first 2 cushions, you will get slightly diff off angles which makes the next 2 cushions more random - so you cant cheap put of this escape. So the rule states "to the best of the players ability" and Ronnie is trying to hit that little pack and not that long ago top refs would have allowed 3 or more cushions reasonable effort as long as it was close and the player wasnt "sneaking" in sideways a bit at a time to just then touch the reds on say 5th attempt. Seems now, no matter how impossible the snooker is, if you dont hit, you are fouled.
It's literally what he's known for.. so not an underrated part of his game. His safety play at times can be underrated.. but his positional play is the best the game has ever seen, hence he's scored so many high breaks, the most centuries and his clear ups on impossible looking tables are made to look like a practice drill!
A nice friday-evening-just-home-from-work video, thanks!
3:40 love the compilation of replacements during miss rule

Great player in this world 🌍
I've never seen anybody play such good shape as Ronnie.
Shape? That's a new one to me...
@@sdrtcacgnrjrc His comment doesn't make any sense at all lol
in ?
Ronnie does indeed play good shape, he's got great queue power and his putting is immaculate.
@@BeareTube you're throwing shapes now (good one at that :-)
You are very good at making and editing these videos,
Well done you 👍🎱
Ronnie is always the BEST ❤️

Best quote of the day, these guys are pure genius on the table
Ronnie has a history with this referee, i think he was attacking the man not the placement of the cue ball.
Love Allen. Seems like a really nice chap. I doubt he is playing to his normal standard. He looked really nervous
He thinks rather highly of himself, but his mouth is writing cheques his talent can’t cash.

After Replacement #3 at 3:22 Mark Allen has an easy red on but doesn't get out of his chair to look. Major blunder there by Allen.

@@DeanWhipper They had. Too expensive to keep using, they said.
No, when you can't hit the white in the same way every time, it actually makes a huge difference over four cushions...
Isn't this the same referee he had it out with in the final vs Judd Trump?
Yeah
Yup, and there the ref couldn't respot the white properly either.
@@dippegalant Definitely explains why Ronnie rode him so hard during the final.
@@davidturner7577 They've had tiffs in the past as well. This ref likes to make the game about himself, not the players. Ronnie just had enough...
This is the ref who cautioned Ronnie about supposed bad language.
never been more confused about the rules of snooker
Fc.saraburi Thailand 🇹🇭 ❤
Is this the one were he walks off conceding the match? ❤️ 🤣 Only kidding love Ronnie

OMG Allen looked like Stephen Lee here, glad he lost the weight
Excellent Ronnie
The legend
It will be a great day for snooker when the insufferable Virgo finally calls it a day

17:09 - "Position success: 98%" Such an underrated part of Ronnie's game.
Do you know what underrated means?
Probably the worst comment I've ever seen in a snooker video 🤣
Underrated? He's anything but underrated.

17:54 thank me later
Heard he converted
This referee is the worse.😮
Sometimes yer just there to be Ronnie's bish. The more ya struggle. The worse it gets.... ;)

Too many shots, does not look professional, they should take points every time they fail, they must catch the efren bata reyes
