Thanks dear Fr for today's teaching reflection and bless. The Prophet Micah like is very straight forward and tells those who think ,plan and plot to rob people the fate that awaits them
God's anger will not spare .He will punish them. The chapter ends with how God will lead the "remanants" back and fill the land. There's lots to think as we withness this in present times
The corruption, cheating and dishonesty we face. Thanks for all the trouble you take . God bless you with good health dear Fr.

Dear Fr Warner your talk today reveals so many truths for which we seriously need to soul search. The sins comitted in the days of Micah prevail even in our society today. We see people in power perpetrating atrocious crimes on the poor & defenceless, siblings fighting over property, the forging of wills & preachers leading people astray with their false teaching. But God sees everything & devises his own plans for retribution. Yet He will be merciful to us if we remain just & upright. Fr there is no one like you who will teach every word & sentence. Thank you for your blessing & may God bless & heal you. 🙏 💞

And once again I come to thank you Padre.
I find, as I pre-read the bible verses to hear your teachings, I tend to mimic your mannerisms and inflections. And I surely mean that as a compliment. I strive to spend each morning with you. If I miss a morning, I feel saddened as though I've lost time with a good friend.
I fully agree with others who praise your selfless contributions to us - globally. And as I share your consternation that our Vatican does not produce a similar program, I say they cannot, or will not - for many of the reasons that you speak of in today's class and others.
As the Catholic faith spread and grew exponentially it inescapably became a bureaucracy. Although the original church’s leadership could be direct and authoritative, as we grew, concessions were made to appease followers’ lifestyles. And, as with any large bureaucracy, concessions tend to become practice. Given time, those practices become gospel-like.
Sadly (to me), we have too few Padre D’Souza’s who prophesize and minister in the traditions of our original Apostles. What we DO have are too many leaders - too many agendas.

@@pottypadre Isn't technology a wondrous double edged sword?
One edge is worn and justifiably vilified because of how often it is hijacked and used for evil purposes.
However, while the sharper edge is too under-used, it can be employed to provide this wonderful relationship your students enjoy with you.
Please know that I do not offer my words as hyperbole or patronization. I am truly thankful and feel blessed to have crossed paths with you.
A maxim I have followed as a Marine leader has been, "If I cross your path and contribute anything to your betterment, then I have succeeded."
My contact and interactions with you have permitted me to experience that thought from the 'receiver's' viewpoint.
      Thank you Padre'.
JFYI: My use of Padre' stems from a military affinity to call our clergy by that title.

Fr. Warner today's reflection on Micah Chapter 2 is a reminder for each one of us, we too, may have knowingly or unknowingly have bullied or exploited our own loved ones with our wicked deeds, without realising the consequences. These atrocities continue to be prevalent even today. But God has always rescued from all kinds of trouble to lift up the downtrodden. And all those who commit such atrocities, will be humiliated in the eyes of God. But let us not forget that God in his mercy will always be there to rescue us from our evil deeds. Thank you Fr.Warner for today's reflection, God bless and heal you. AMEN!

Tq Father, your teachings make us reflect about God’s judgment and revenge. You went in detail about God’s anger.when injustice happens to us, we tend to blame God that he is blind. But you assured us that God is watching. and God is angry. And God will do exactly what you did to the poor blameless man. Very interesting ! You also made us think about our ill gotten wealth and things that we acquired through our bargains. All these makes us to be careful about our purchases. We really need to search ourselves.About False Prophets…… we want to hear only nice things from our priests…. ‘ You should also preach about the inevitable !I really love your teachings.a big thank you to you Father. I’ve not seen anyone teach like you. We should have more scripture teachers. Our Lord protect you and Mother Mary keep you safe.🙏👍

Today's reflection really has a special message for each of us.
Micah's warning to the False Prophets that they should realize that spreading false news is ethnically incorrect.
I appreciate your advise to us when we visit Patients who are really critically ill and we have to prepare them to face a happy death and not give false assurances of their recovery

    In disguise & deceit
    We bargain our thoughts
The significance of prayer an excuse
    A thought, a key
In a world full of trouble
    The mind filled with sin
    A greedy heart
    Weighed with guilt
    With despair follows shame
    No sacrifice can redeem
    Or an offering an repentance
But a broken heart God observes
    The tear from your eye
    A Merciful God
    So full of inexhaustible compassion
    Willing to forgive
    Ever willing to forget
    How Blessed is the Lord✝️

'Thy will be done'... Each time I talk to God with a specific petition, I've always ended with '... But most of all, may Your will be done. But give me the grace & strength to accept Your will.' But it does pinch to say this cos when God answers me, maybe it will be a 'no'.

Father I don’t know about everyone but I listen to your lessons because they help me prepare for tomorrows mass. Now since you have decided to concentrate on the prophets( which I do listen to but later) and I find them very interesting and useful.. There are some very good You Tubers who teach scripture. I regularly listen to Padre Peregrine who goes through the New Testament ,and teaches mental prayer verse by verse, he also is going thru the Catechism in a separate channel. There is The Institute Of Catholic Culture which does an excellent teaching on Sunday Liturgy. There’s you ofcourse! And I like that you do not mince words and make everything sound lighthearted and easy. Our Parish priest reminds us regularly that very few make it directly to heaven. This needs to be emphasised if we are to take our religion safely . We easily say when a relative dies,”Oh he’s now with so and so in heaven. We can’t take it for granted. We have to work to our salvation with “fear and trembling” . Thanks for reminding us . Thanks for all the hard work you put into the teachings.

    Dear Father Warner,
This is Jasmin and Mark Ignatius from Singapore and have been following your bible study very regularly and we really look forward to it everyday.
We really like the way you give the introduction and take us through each of the chapter. Infact we relate to it so much in the current times which is happening around us
What we also like is your direct and straight message without mincing it or sugar coating.
Yesterday you did mention if any other source giving the same kind of Bible study and wanted to let you know that we listen to Fr Mike Schmitz through the podcast which is a bible study for 365 days and we listen to him through the ascension app as in Singapore it is made available to us through our dioceses.
Thank you Father for bringing the word of God to us through these videos.
