Very true Father we must make a choice and choose to obey or disobey and be punished.

Thank you father for reminding us through Jeremiah of what we need to do to keep God happy with us,and not turn away in anger. I found that Psalm119,the longest of the Psalms has alot of similarity with what Jeremiah has written.

Thanks a million for repeating the Truth that God is Merciful but He has a right to Judge and decide how to deal with those who do not obey His Commandments.
It is really terrible to know how King Zedekiah had to see his sons killed.
The ones who opposed and threatened the Prophet Jeremiah were sent to him to ask God to intervene and save them.
But God refused to help His Chosen People because of their Apostasy and their rebellious ways. The verse from Deuternomy 30:15 clearly tells us the reason for refusing to be merciful
We need to make A Choice and that choice will either make us or break us.
May the Holy Spirit continue to inspire and guide you Fr.Warner
God bless you and protect you always 🙏 Fr.Warner

Thanks for your teaching, especially with your saying, I have not made up my mind , is achoice we have already made.
The Bible is so true, I remember learning King Nebuchadnezzar in history in school and then I remember hearing him in the reading at mass and it struck me way back then , that we have a real book, the Bible and evidence to back us up that what is in the ible is true not like many other religions we have around us. great to remember this again. God bless your ministry and you 🙏

Since you mentioned Dueteronomy 30:15 ,I opened the Bible to read it and 30:12 captured my attention....who will go up to heaven for us ,and get it for us ,so that we may hear it and observe it.❤...and Yes Jesus did give all this understanding to us when He walked on earth as well as by sending us His Divine helper The Holy Spirit. Deuteronomy 30:15 is applicable for us too even now because the fate is same then and now when we disobey. God's words...I myself will fight against you/I have set my face against the city/I am against you😢😢😢
Your wise words...Not making up our mind is also a choice we make. You must make a choice and that choice will make you 👏👏 ❤Thank you Father Warner❤

Hello Fr., Thank you for your reflection.
Judah wanted God to defend them while they were far away from God and not obeying.
So often, we are like Judah, we want God to bless us, but we do not obey God.

Dear Fr Warner we learn an important spiritual truth in this chapter. God gives us a choice - the way of life or death. We have to choose & recognise the implications of our choice. In Deutronomy Moses also gave the Israelites 2 choices life & prosperity or death & destruction. This reminds us of the 2 thieves who hung with Jesus - one repented & was assured of Paradise while the other made the wrong choice! Thank you Fr - for teaching us so well. God bless you always 🙏 💞

Thank you Father for the beautiful teaching enjoying the teaching of Jeremiah I wait patiently for it our God is too good and loving and forgiving but equally full of anger when we continuously disobey his commands which we refuse to obey
