Luc Deveraux (Jean-Claude Van Damme), the heroic former Universal Soldier, is about to be thrown into action once again. With the Cold War over and defense budgets slashed, the entire Universal Soldier team is facing elimination, including SETH, the super-computer that controls the ultra-warriors. Knowing that his days are numbered, SETH decides to seek revenge by destroying his creators and implementing a reign of terror on the outside world. Goldberg always has been a high IQ individual. If you watch a video when he is finding his debut jacket with Lita, and also a questionare game with a lady Saudi host, the way he speaks is very articulative and has so much vocabulary. I also heard he had no problem memorizing a script when being casts in a movie. It's cool that he has the brains alongside the muscles

This movie had some of the most consistently impactful kicks of all JCVD's movies if I recall(spoken as someone who has seen literally every single movie of his up til 2014)

Впервые эту картину увидел на первом курсе в 1999 году и безусловно фильм мне понравился,тогда я ещё не особо задумывался над тем,сколько лет главному герою,но недавно с узумлением понял что Жан-Клоду Ван Дамму 1960 года отраду,если верить биографии,на тот момент было 39 лет,а в фильме он выглядел на все 50!

I suspect he did get a big check out of it. I remember reading in a magazine that when WCW went out of business he refused to sell his contract for pennies on the dollar and decided to collect his full check as long as it was contractually owed him. So I suspect he would be the type to negotiate a nice pay check.
