Hey WTA editors. This is such a strange tactic you are using, always showing only the winners of Kasatkina's opponent. Don't you realize that we like Kasatkina. Check your stats. Big ups to Dasha for clinching the title! I've watched her two finals' matches this year and felt she had the game to win but couldn't quite get over the finish line due to how dialed in her opponents were throughout those tournaments (Adelaide/Ostapenko & Abu Dhabi/Rybakina). Bummed for Leylah though! The silver lining is this run should boost her confidence leading into Wimbledon😌

In fact, it was really a heartwarming final appearance which was played between Fernandez and Kasatkina. Even though Leylah contended more valiant and steadfast as of the second set, Daria Kasatkina has explicitly protected her nonchalance and serenity, dictating the points with her resilience and efficiency. It was the most crucial portion of this clash in order to lead the rallies. Even so, I want to appreciate the efforts, perseverance and tenacity of the professional Canadian tennis competitor. She needs more time and opportunities to reach the highest scale. She will be more resilient and efficient with the time. It was commonly a scintillating tourney for Leylah Fernandez.

Annabel croft had much to say about Kasatkina tennis vs radukantdu…how slow her shots and serves were and all those ‘moon balling … and that the windy conditions affected the darling s game!!😂😂😂😂 well played Daria you have an amazing game!!❤

I think both these players show how matches can be won without being slugfests as to who can hit harder.

Glad for Kasatkina after a streak of final losses. Well earned! She works all her spins and craft to get past the power players. And win or lose, she's calm and respectful.

Pity for leylah. She just such a smart player with variety shots but dont have enough weapon to threat defensive player like kasatkina. Congrats to both. Good improvememt by leylah throughout this tournament but kasatkina too good for her

Kasatkina looked so much stronger than Fernandez. So, she could take her time and pick her shots.

Insane that nearly every single point shown here was a Fernandez winner, and yet the story of the match is a straight-sets win by Kasatkina.
