What makes your job easier? Asking because I want to bury my cable tv wire. It's been 9 years and the provider hasn't done it after multiple promises. I'd like to do it properly and would like to use conduit but don't I have to cut the cable to thread it thru the conduit? Then, can a non cable guy put an end back on the cable?
I am blown away. Great job. I needed to know how to do this for my specialty business and yourself and RUclips has helped me once again. That tool is awesome.
Man, I was dreading digging a small trench but what an awesome tool. I've got a garden bed edger that is a lot smaller but should do the exact same job no problem. I'll use that instead!
i bough one about 2 years ago! cuts my hour counts down by like 70% i sometimes still have to use the shovel on stubborn soil but man your spade is the absolute best purchase i ever made for this!
That ground is super wet...you could easily just keep your foot on the t-spade and "roll" it over every few inches without even lifting it up. Still a good job, but guys who slam the t-spades into the ground make me nervous when it comes to hitting other lines that may not have been buried very deep.
Why is there not a french drain or schedule 40 pvc in the ground, with gutter downspouts attached, so water is moved out of that area? I'm sure the foundations are about ruined from all that water just sitting there. Not to mention the water getting inside units.
Hi bro can you show me where Can find that’s kind of shovel , I didn’t find in any place here. No find in Home Depot, Lowes or Amazon. ? Where can I find it please
That's Paul Hardcastle's music! By the way, how many other cables did you cut? That's exactly how I put my lawn sprinkling system in 20 years ago. A soaker hose to get the ground soggy and a 12 " long cutter blade with a T handle that I made I also made a contoured type of attachment that fastened to the bottom of the blade and pushed the pipe to the bottom of the cut trench. I want to get it down at least 8" to 10" in the ground. I would guess the conduit you are using is the same as the black poly pipe used for sprinkler systems except it is gray for Identification.
Just a concern customer who's cable always gets cut here! Was that at least 6 inches deep? From my understanding low voltage underground cables depth has to be 6 inches or more in a conduit or not.
What happens if the orange coax cable is cut and you try to repair it? Will it work normally? Or will the WiFi cut out? Is it better to get call and get a new one?
Nobody uses conduit here for coaxial cable, goes straight in the ground and gets cut all the time. I install sprinkler systems and even if its marked, one wrong kick of the shovel, its cut. I keep a bag of underground connections on the truck just for this. I like the conduit, should all be like this, even for irrigation vavle wire.
Dang I've never seen orange RG-6 before who uses that? Thought it was fiber at first. I guess they don't want you to direct bury that RG-6 with all that water? I'm definitely using that flex conduit if I ever need to spec conduit again, what's it called?
cox, spectrum and comcast use orange r6 and rg11 ,cox requires to be in conduit not due to water, but pretty much in entire midwest and spectrum doesnt require conduit even it is the same cable in southeast.they require in their fiber drops all over now but att. they do direct buries all over no matter where or what u bury. rg6 and rg11 underground wires are flooded wires so not really need a conduit.
The orange rg6 been around for decades , i remember using it in the early 2000s when Adelphia was around... charter Communications switch to black cable around 2004, that was back In California... and then 2007 in Texas I was very surprise to see the orange cable out here
Call your tv/internet provider customer service, and tell them that there’s an exposed cable line that needs to be reburied. They will send a contractor to reburied that orange cable.
What do you think is a good pay per Foot & job for contractors, cause mine pays $19 per 1-25ft $35 per 10-25ft & $44 per 25-210ft Is this a good pay rate for contractors?
