While Americans do bet on college football they also throw things at the players, so you can take some small comfort in that. Love how the minions blindfolded the antique pistol.
if you take out Blackbeard it's like a clean and shaven Jack Sparrow meets and Elizabeth Taylor Egyptian queen of Egypt stand in. you know , a love story!
Just out of sheer curiosity I looked up what $38,000 would be in modern money - turns out it's just shy of $259K. This has been another "pointless trivia moment"
I was 5 when my parents took me to see this in the theaters. 2 things I realized while watching it, 1:even at the age of 5 i realized that Blackbeard was a mass murdering, pillaging pirate. 2: Suzanne Pleshette was hot. Good review
RUclips's been recommending this review to me for awhile. And now that I finally gave in and watched it makes me wonder if the Mistress has ever seen the Disney flick Condorman with Michael Crawford....
DiamandaHagan by the way, I found a mention on tv tropes that there is a review of "the room" where you force your "doppelganger" to watch it. Is that real, or did someone screw it up?
That war and peace summary was amazing.
Cracked me up but good
I believe Johnny Depp said he played the record for this movie incessantly as a kid...
And Peter Ustinov was that generation's Richard Griffiths.

8:20 That's Arne Darvin from "The Trouble with Tribbles". Poor guy, banished from the Klingon Empire so hard he wound up at different studio.

Love this movie.
Saw it as a kid. Totally forgot about it. Dumb old Disney can be fun

I can't find when Hagan reviewed Condorman, too many reviews to look through. But she did. I like that movie too. Don't see the connection here though
10:44 Was his wife's maiden name Ryder by any chance?
We seem to have the distaste to some same surprising movies. I also never was a fan of Matrix. Well I and Nostalgia Critic.
15:12 Alex DeLarge: We fillied around for a while with other travelers of the night.
4:28 LOL
Nice A Christmas Carol reference it's my fav line
22:58 Proof Benedict Cumberbatch is *also* a time lord
12:18 Insert Robin Hood joke here
I love the grannies commentary.
Nice bedknobs and broomsticks reference too
A pirate ghost beating up gangsters is pretty fantastic.
A 1960's American Highway Patrolman, not clubbing the absolute shit out of someone who nearly killed him? Only Disney......
Well, it was a white man.
27:50 sounds like a mountain goats song. Thanks for another fun music drop
1:58 Well yes he had
Prank idea: put this movie on a disc & then give it to a fan of the gay pirate show
This is an underrated guilty pleasure of mine though I admit the 40s style villains are pretty weak.
14:32 He can have his BED!
No 'Spaced' clip during the shootout?
"The Losers" would be more fitting.
This is kinda fun
10:58 another Hagan prop that I already have. That silly hat. I should stop being surprised at this point
Do you think Blackbeard's Ghost would have been better if it was a horror movie, instead?
I also hate the Matrix...
32:00 ROFLMAO
Arrgh
32:20 Is that a reference to an actual movie? If so, which one?
Never seen Bedknobs and Broomsticks?
DiamandaHagan thank you, mistress, and thank you again for taking time out to answer my questions.
