You should look up that 1880 Morgan Silver Dollar. I was told recently that they started circulating in 1881. With 1881 and 1882 being the most popular to collect.

Jason, so good to know that diamonds are sometimes set in steel!! I’ve had a large ring for some time now and it has many tiny set diamonds. It must be old because it took me a long time to clean it, and it still needs more cleaning! I’ve taken it to jewelers because it seemed to test as gold, but I just wasn’t sure and I hate to do that kind of testing. They couldn’t tell me what the metal was until I found one with one of those X-ray machines. The jeweler said the metal tests as iron. ??
It looks like it might have had a gold wash at one time. Not sure. And it’s in 3 bands that are pin set together! It’s one of the pieces I’m saving until my knowledge grows, or until you are ready to do video calls.

Hi Jason! Happy retirement! Just wondered if you ever check '1st Dibs' for price comps? Not really comps but for fun would be better said. Their prices are out of sight but does help me when I've tried to get more info on something I've picked up or had for awhile like the compact/cigarette cases I have.
