Slay, but I feel like different pictures would’ve made this more dynamic. I feel like we saw the stagnant picture of her in the middle of a circle for most of the video. Maybe formation changes/movement, and I was hoping they would use the stairs on the side

Coming from a ex-pro photographer who has watched this now 10 times out of addiction. Choreography 11/10 Dancing Sato 10/10 Kids dancing 10/10 Wardrobe and makeup 10/10 Intro -1/10 annoying noise. I get what it is going for but it did not land. Filming 8/10, it had mostly good moments and some mediocre moments. Look (lighting, background) 1/10, looks extremely cheap and amateurish. I almost clicked away expecting trash. A world class dance performance, I don't remember when I last saw a better one but with a cheap production value. Like a diamond in a toybox. If it is about not affording to rent a proper studio and hire a crew, witch is understandable, filming in the night on some mountain or cliff or even park would be better. Have some torches and some lights. It will give a nice dark background with some detail but a high quality look on the dancers and a great mood for cheap. Or in a old abandoned house. I hope this is remade. This is a 7+ million views dance performance.
The dance is marvelous as always, but the background aestethic is not help you at all. It is works against you. The color and the lighting is odd. Do not fit. It feels disharmonic with your dance and outfits.
