From Finland comes another FANTASTIC Metal band called "BATTLE BEAST" with the female singer Noora Louhimo. What an amazing surprise this band was! Such an awesome chorus that is both heavy and melodic! Another GREAT band from "Nuclear Blast Records"! I really hope you enjoyed this one as much as I did!

You mentioned the similarities between this and Blind and Frozen - good ear! It’s because Anton Kabanen wrote both songs; he was a founding member of Battle Beast and their principal songwriter; they split up over creative differences after three albums and Anton went on to form Beast in Black. Battle Beast has now done three albums after Anton (and he’s got three with BiB) so we as fans are getting twice as much awesome music as we would be had they not parted ways.

I guess you could say that Anton is the Dave Mustaine of this particular genre of Metal, Pop Synth Metal. As both bands make heavy use of keyboards and high pitched vocals with Noora and Yanis.

Battle Beast are brilliant. This is one of their early songs, they were a bit more aggressive back then, and have become more melodic. Their latest album, Circus of Doom is awesome, check out Master of Illusion from the album. They have so many bangers with different styles, there are some great ballads which show Noora's clean vocals, try Angel Cry, its beautiful. There's cheesy disco metal, Touch in the Night is a great example. Other recommendations, Let it Roar, Black Ninja, King For a Day, I Want the World, Eden, Wings of Light. This is only the start. Also, this track doesn't even scratch the surface of Noora's powerful awesome voice.

Oh yes definately. I do suggest listening to Black Ninja next. Shows her range a little more than Out of Control and is from the same album. Honestly when she hits that "she's a black ninjaaaaa" the first time you hear it you get wow moment with your mouth open wide lol. Check out another band called Beast in Black too, the guitarist and song writer left/got thrown out of Battle Beast and formed this new band, who are similar but with an unbelievable male singer. Listen to Blind and Frozen, or Sweet True Lies, by them, you will love it!

@@stebow1977 Black Ninja is fun for someone who hasn't heard the band yet. Because of the turn it takes. But the surprise factor kind of ruined now for him. Still a good song.

There is something about heavy metal with female vocals. Definitely a nice song. One of their past members is now with Beast in Black.

I get a strong Sabaton - "No Bullets Fly" vibe out of this song. Listen to the note progression in each song's Chorus with the exception of one or two notes, and it's essentially the same.

That's one of the bands I discovered fairly recently. While I can't say I am a big fan, I like their sound and Noora has an amazing voice. Out of the song I heard so far "Master of Illusion" is my favourite.

Fortunately, you can believe it, there's many great bands we have not heard.
Noora is among my top fav female singers, I don't have one fav singer. And Battle Beast does good music, some real kick-ass headbanging stuff, and then more melodic beautiful stuff. And this was from the more kick-ass side. There's one thing I don't like about in this band. That they don't record their gigs professionally. Because they're freaking awesome and fun live band.
Thats too bad, hopefully they will do that in the future though! Overall, this sounded friggin great! Can't wait for the next song!

You have to. You must see "Black Ninja". Your reaction to "master of ilusion" for Nora's next video and this one is amazing. But imagine you combine the dynamics of "Out of control" with the power of "Master of ilusion". And that is what "Black Ninja" is. In "Out of control" Noora did not give her full vocal abilities.
Black Ninja is on the "to do list" already so keep an eye out for it ;) I always randomize my reactions, so I never know which will come next. I have a LOT of reactions in the bag, and I just draw one. But it will come indeed, sooner or later, I assure you =)

Noora in this p [iosence is like cobra. In the verse, it meanders beautiful, harmless among the grasses. At the beginning of the chorus, she rises, opens her collar, and warns. At the end of the chorus, he attacks.
But there is another song where Noora is like cobra but bites harder.

Don't know how much you know about singing. Noora is a soprano belter. Soprano is the high female voice in a choir e. g. and belting is the extremely powerful style she does.
One more thing: Sabaton covered this song. It's on an older album. Sounds super badass, as well.
