It’s so amazing because in some stills of him in this movie, some facial expressions make him look like an absolute sweetheart and he looks like a kind, vulnerable person, and then in other stills, he does facial expressions that are nightmarishly creepy, which I believe, his weight loss is a major contributor. I was in awe when I saw how gaunt his face looked in the first images of him as Arthur and was obsessed with the movie ever since. He looked like a completely different person. I think he is so fascinating from what I’ve seen so far and I’m super excited to see him portray this character and can’t wait for the movie!!!
The Ancient Lantern He is a compelling actor for sure. His performance in Gladiator has stayed with me to this day. I was disappointed that he did not get the Oscar for that. 😥
