THAT'S your problem. DON'T turn it on its side like that. The problem with the circuits and crap is that the soders and bla bla bla you already know this. BUT if you keep it on it's side (like I do mine) it gets plenty of air flow but gravity works FOR you to keep those circuits on the motherboard (if that makes any sense). bottom line- Keep it flat on the table and not on it's edge.
