Here are some fun facts: This movie was originally for DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince & The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was originally for Kid N Play. It was a win win for both sides. There were a lot of actors that were in this movie before they blew up such as Joe Torry, Clifton Powell, the late AJ Johnson (Ezell from Friday), Ronn Riser (Stanley from Friday), Sean Baker & Bentley Kyle Evans.
This is a Legendary movie by far one of my favorites I can watch it over and over again it’s crazy how much time has passed i was 4 when this came out I’m 37 now this movie embodies everything the 90’s was about and that was the house parties this movie was a 10 for me.

I never knew Antony AJ Johnson was from compton in real life, he had that west coast style of the late 80s down straight! He's always had a look to him that stands out and i guess i know why even though he never had a line in this film. Always entertaining in the stuff i seen him in, rest in power AJ.

Awesome reaction, I do disagree about play being the worst friend ever. He did some things for kid to get in trouble but he also help bail him out, literally(jail) in every movie. In house party 2 he sold his mustang to help kid get back in college and in house party 3 he help talk sense back into kids fiancé to her back to marrying kid.

John Witherspoon character don't like public enemy. Neither did Don Cornelius when they first appeared on soul train. He didn't know what to make of them especially Flavor Flav. Saw a clip of it when it was on youtube. That why for me now the whole scene with john is extra funny.
The only thing good that came from the jail scene was that the one great photo they took on that bench after Kid got out.. but yeah the jail scene was cringe after the party I think they wanted to get the gang together for the final 10-15 minutes that's why they threw that in so that Play, Bilal and Kid would have a reason to take Sidney and Sharane home .
I agree! That jail scene was just padding for the run time because this movie is absolutely 20 minutes too long. And after Kid dry humped Sydney for those t minutes in her bedroom, that could have been the end of that storyline in this movie 😂
See they could have made a lost footage jack ass borat movie at the beginning where new line Wb kid play and lebron and all the cameos fucking with Martin still did the Illuminati and champion ring being stolen at the end made the same exact same movie but tied it more to the original cast it would have been legendary
I watched house party 6 twice now and I’ve been quoting the lines I have to put it up there as my 3rd favorite I can’t put it above 3 and 5 and I can’t put it below 2 and 1 I couldn’t figure out what to do with it but it was the best and worst at the exact same time that is the problem
