My older sister has been complaining about the homeless people it's just too much! Don't get me wrong like I feel bad for them at times but still.... aren't there anymore homeless shelters or is there anymore room in jail? I know I may come across a little rude but ugh this is getting out of hand she can't even take her kids to the park because she doesn't feel safe because they are all over the playgrounds and they are also so messy they make that beautiful Fresno look so ugly they are ruining that city! Like get a job already Jesus Christ like if they don't want to contribute to society and get it together then off to jail you go at least there's a nice bed, food, shelter and around the clock doctors or whatever!And if they are ex drug addicts send them to rehab and i know mental illness plays a big part in this but we have programs for that too like come on! and on the contrary to what I'm writing I do have compassion for them and I'm also well aware some homeless people just don't have family or friends or have a good support system that they can turn to but like I don't get it why can't the city just help them out.I rather have them in jail or in homeless shelters or rehab facilities,or a good healthy mental institutions. I mean something I mean anything is better than them camping out everywhere around the entire city scaring women and children and visitors.
The issue with what you just said is...A lot is these people do NOT want help. Shelters have rules and certain homeless people do not want to follow rules. They prefer to live on the street so they can have no responsibility. Just do their drugs and that's it. The people that want help, actually try get the help, get sober, get jobs and become citizens. Unfortunately, a lot of those programs in CA are set up to fail. Too many with their greedy hands in the pot and the people who need help fall through the cracks.

And the homeless will just break it & enter anyway. If apartment garages get broken into on the regular, what would stop them from breaking a gate out in the open that isn’t patrolled?

Split the alleyway and give the land to the connecting property owners the land and get rid of the alleyway. Give the land to the property owners and adjust the taxes for the free land and the city and county will make more money over time an do away with the cost to continue to clean these areas. Simple no cost or low cost answer to the problem.

offer services but homeless refuse. Until you make it TAKE THESE SERVICES OR WE MAKE YOU HELP CLEAN UP THIS GARBAGE DUMP, than nothing will change. There is a prison in Mississippi where the inmates grow the vegetables. Why not make a place where the homeless who refuse services are placed, make them grow vegetables to eat instead of giving them needles. Instead of being released on parole, you get released to 1 of those tiny homes & if you F up, you get sent back to the vegetable farm. I know.....people gonna say mentally ill & all that other stuff. 90% just lazy & don't want to work + not many realize that gangs also tax you to set up a tent in their hood. You buy your meth, fentanyl from them & tell your homeless friends the same & we'll let you place your tent. If not, your gonna catch a beatdown
It would also help people that actually work to lower the cost of living I know many living in cars due high rents can't afford a one bedroom apartment.

Whether or not you like me rally for the war on poverty plan I suggest and we can solve homelessness quickly. New vice taxes and very small new income taxes and 30 grand limit spending. Also California needs some massive new long term rehab centers.
