Loving your Peloton videos Steve! Here's a video request. I have heard a lot about virtual bike fitting sessions and how this can help a lot, not just with performance, but injury prevention. I am a peleton newbie waiting for my bike to arrive and would love to see a video on how/if a vr fit session helped (or didn't).

Literally what I’m doing right now. Just ordered mine a few days ago but it isn’t set to be delivered until May 21 😩😩. Started working out with the app cause I’m too excited.
@@richardliriano6058 Nice! I tried daily to get a new delivery date and got it a month early, March 26th. I almost killed myself the first week between the bike+ and the tread+ because this thing is damn addictive!!

Great video thankyou ... im wondering on the usb port if an Amazon fire stick can be plugged in at all or a converter for one 🤔
Wow!! I had no idea on the connecting to the internet at 8:13. I tried it, and it worked with Netflix...so right. I still cannot get my android TV and the Peloton to miracast...both android devices....so I must be missing a step. Also, the speed check...really great. My download was in the low 50's and upload was in the high 30's...I sent the diagnostics to Peloton.

I just got a bike and my netflix says the same thing as yours. Have you solved this issue since? I don't always use the bike to watch things but I would prefer to be able to if I want some more exercise while watching something

I had no clue about being able to watch Netflix. Sounds like a great way to keep the blood flowing while being a couch potato; without having to have another device in the room!

I just went back on the bike after a couple of months layoff, ( Covid and trying to increase my VO2 levels via my treadmill). I noticed that every couple of minutes I get a message saying, “ Awesome workout, Exit program?” Despite the fact that I’m still working out. Any thoughts?
I saw your video about the Pivot and also got one, came within a week for me and it adds so much more versatile. I also use Aftershokz bone transmitting headphones, I find normal headphones too hot to wear and these are also great outside when walking the dog or riding, as you can still hear traffic coming up on you.

Thanks! I have an Apple Watch.
If it’s the bike+, an Apple Watch connects to it.
For the standard bike, I still get lots of data to the watch, just not on screen heart rate.
If not, a lot of people like the scosche heart rate monitor.

Very helpful video. Kindly tell me what’s this device called that rotates the screen. I want to install that too. I felt cheated wen peloton realeased this plus bike after one month I bought this bike. Really not fair. They should have advertised it before.

Just got the peloton tread and activated the tread lock. The tread stops all of a sudden, if I navigate to browser.... I can either watch youtube or run... But not both... anyone with the same issue?

Can you use the original Peloton bike and adjust the resistance without the monitor installed?
I don't want the monitor in the way. I just want the bike.
Yes, the resistance on the OG Bike is not digital and can be adjusted without any power. If you want to see what your resistance is, you must use the monitor though.
I believe when you get Netflix, Spotify, etc. it voids the warranty, no?
I tested the Netflix access just to see if it worked, but just like you I get an error message if I try to play a video. I'm in the Pacific NW of the US, so I don't know if that's the case everywhere else.

Yes the browser hack supposedly voids your warranty as per the staff at the store, which makes zero sense since the browser is part of the UI!? Like how will it void and how will they know? Also can you install Android apps or just browser?
Have you been able to read pdf documents with the browser? I’ve been looking for a way to do it... haven’t gotten any luck.
I haven’t tried, sorry. If you could open them in a web browser. I can’t see why not.
@@SteveJulien I was trying to read pdf from SSRN, couldn’t open them. Then I saved it to my google drive and opened it from there. It worked! 😃
The saving yo google drive part needs to be done on iPhone or computers. Peloton doesn’t support the saving files to google drive.

@@SteveJulien how did you get the heart rate zones in the bottom Center of the screen? Mines in the top left hand corner.
After a FTP test, you can switch it on in settings.

@@phillbatley7042 Hi Phil, I use the Scosche rythm heart rate monitor I just pull onto my forearm and the Aftershokz headphones when I ride, if that is of any use to you if looking.
I just find it quicker and easier than using chest monitor and it's pretty accurate too. A basic toweling style headband is now helping stop me dripping all over the bike haha. #Kraffles is my user. I have the power bands at the bottom and also heart rate info and my favourite instructor is Christine D'Ercole and her power zone endurance rides. I find her motivating but good with informing you length of efforts to help you mentally plan.
Netflix works, but I’m in the US thanks!
