I have owned the original Peloton Tread for a little over a year, which I guess they call the Tread+ now. Woodway uses the same type of slatted belt and is way more expensive then a Peloton. I used to own a Woodway, sold it to buy a Peloton for the classes plus other features and am very glad i did. The slatted belt of the Tread+ is key and is amazing to run on. Controls are very smooth and easy to reach while running. Normally, I hate running on standard belt treadmills and prefer the road. Now I prefer running on my Peloton. The class content and instructors are ever expanding, keeps me coming back, looking forward to workouts. I do strength training on my own with, but do enjoy the Peloton bootcamp classes. Kind of disappointed that Peloton would make a belt treadmill, why not make a shorter slatted tread with a smaller screen to offer a less expensive option? IMO, the Tread+ and subscription is worth the price, I use mine consistently and Peloton customer service has been excellent in my experiences. Hope this helps anyone considering purchasing from Peloton or another company.
