I would love to see a comeback of the Hutch Trick star.
Check out the Hutch website if you haven't already, they do the reproduction stuff including the Trick Star frame/forks etc..

Amazing job with these guys! I wish I was aware of these when they were released. I’ll be watching like a hawk from now on. Hoping they do a 1985 rerelease for 2025.
I had that bike back in 88'. I bought it out of a BMX Plus magazine for something like $300.
The bike I always wanted. Couldn't afford it, so I started skating. Have a 1993 Master and a 2011 350.3 now.
This looks like the best Haro Master ever. I wish more video of it were posted. I can hardly wait until March 19 to get it.
'Ey bro, *Thanks to your video here I actually bought this bike and just got-it-all put together hours ago...and to keep the warranty valid and since I didn't have all of the tools I went to a bike shop.
**Everyone at the local bike shop including the man who's owned the BEST bike shop in the county, said that this was literally, "A Piece of Jewelry" that he wouldn't even freestyle with since it's so amazing, and... "It should be hanging on the wall like art, a collectible", he said. It draws a crowd... but I'm definitely hardcore and I'll be jumpin' and grindin' on this as soon as I become reacclimated to riding again after 30 years. - *** --- A TRULY SICK machine! Nothing else even compares to this.
100% SICK! (Mine is the 20 in./20.5 in. tt))) - I can't stand those huge tires for freestyle.
Thanks Too Dennis McCoy for Having Haro Re-Release his 88 Turquoise Aqua Master. He Made that Bike Famous as Well. That too was the Kansas City Bike.
I think Dave Nourie made it more famous than DMC which is more known for the 86 green one released under his name

Its the high price tag that makes Haro special , if can buy these in K mart it wouldn't be as unique.

Wow! Haro has came to the past! I grew up with Haro Mater 1988 and Haro Street Master 1991 (with square Bashguard) I love those “new” 2018 bikes. A Sport model wth knee saver bar it’s so cool, but I really will miss the Fusion stem and Oddisey Pitbull breaks (may be this not) 👋🏽😀🇻🇪

They are bro --- like... ONE model, the Gt Pro Performer in chrome, and the PK Ripper, Super elite, just for BMX --- but NOTHING is already FREESTYLE-ready like these new HAROS are now...

Guys I have a question about your Vintage Super Pro 48s. I have 4 sets preordered through my local bike shop. Recently I saw the interview with John at interbike on the vitalbmx channel. He had mentioned that rims are pinned vs welded. This was referenced as part of a deterrent to keep fiends from trying to sell these as Peregrines. My questions is, will these be as strong or stronger than the welded Peregrines? I have not been able to find a definitive answer as to which is better. These rims will not be on carpet queens. Lawnmowers, Miami Hop Hops, and cherry pickers galore will be happening on these things. Would you guys do a feature vid on the Super Pro 48s? Thank you for your time and THANK YOU JOHN for making this all happen!!!
Why not just use Dominator hard seats like the old ones? Not sure why these ugly, fat, clunky cloth seats came about they may be more comfortable to sit on but not as good for tricks as the nose is too short to reach the bars, they rip, are heavier, and slippery to stand on. Also very little adjustments can be made. Unless I can use a Dominator I will stick with the vintage.
I agree 100%. I'm old-school and I just can't stand any tire over 20's either... WTF?
I agree on the seat as well. If you're going to do classic setup where the seats are higher, then why not make them adjustable too that goes forwards and backwards, like the 80's BMX seats?
odd that the forks aren't chrome & teal like the '88 but it still looks absolutely fantastic. already saving $$$ for the 19" Flat Master version... again haha (3 years in a row now)
*On the topic of wheels or rims for bikes or cars; have you heard that now in 2018, due to the "cyanide" used in manufacturing even if made in China, that the E.P.A., Environmental Protection Agency, has halted all chromoly manufacturing specifically for wheels/rims for bikes/cars made in smaller batches?
This (tragically) appears to be entirely an issue of production cost and smaller independent manufacturers seeking-out the least expensive alternatives possible.
- At least we're all "hip" now and environmentally friendly... and apparently the newer pseudo-chromoly rims end-up peeling, so some sort of satin is being used to replace them making your original retro chromoly rims now very rare. - **Are there any opinions or comments on this topic?
**Here are some basic facts: 4130 Chromoly is still used in bike frames and many other items... Cold drawn - normalized, the strength is 85,000 - 110,000 psi (590-760 MPa). So, is it only the cyanide or the carbon dioxide or methane also necessary for production that's an issue here (?) or all of the former?
Is it primarily the cyanide or martensite via the formation of carbides? --- Some current typical hardening agents also include carbon monoxide gas (CO), sodium cyanide and barium carbonate, or even hardwood charcoal. So, in gas carburizing, the CO is given-off by propane or natural gas. However, in the less costly process of liquid carburizing, the CO is derived from a molten salt composed mainly of sodium cyanide (NaCN) and barium chloride (BaCl2).
Due entirely to production costs, we may never again see any "new" chromoly wheels or rims made using a less expensive recipe of toxic chemicals which is naturally what any smaller company would be compelled to do. In summary: Larger mass produced items will still be chromoly, but a small U.S. company over in China just needing to manufacture 500 pairs of rims or wheels isn't worth it, so the less expensive cyanide process "was" used, until just very recently. ?????????????????????????????????? - One Big Question after another especially after he says the 20.5 TT IS Chrome.... ???????????????????????????????????
*** --- *** SO MY REAL QUESTION IS --- I just bought the 20.5 TT, HARO Lineage MASTER shown here... IS THIS CHROME (still?) on my 2018 rims (???) --- or some satin finish? - I'll have my bike in 2-3 days once delivered and I'll let ya'll know how it handles jumps and freestyle-ground, etc., OR IF it eventually just "PEELS-OFF" which I've read about in the forums, so... - I also heard the Chrome peeled? Also why is there fork standers on the 26 inch one but not the 20 inch one? And can the seat and handlebars be grabbed together? Seat looks pretty short so not sure they can connect to the grips for tricks, unless the seat moved way up. I might just have to stick to the vintage.

Why dose the new Master not have the foot stirrup behind the seat post? the new Master is just the sport with a sticker that says Master.
Will the 20" forks come in the proper color with flip-down pegs, too??

Love the Teal Lineage Master. But I wish we could get it with the 88 style built in frame standers. :(
They will most likely do frames like previous years.
So you'll be able to build a teal/mint Master with a 1 inch headset, frame standers and fork standers.

The original knee saving bars were Schwinn Jr's.
I'd go with the GT Show handlebar because these don't quite polish the bike off like the 4 piece GT would.

Not a fan of the 26” bike. Looks like a beach cruiser. Who rides those things? 20” all the way, as it should be.

I just bought this yesterday... $1,259.00 for the 20.5 TT and now only ONE left... and NO, none of these have "Chrome" wheels any longer apparently due to "cyanide" used in the process which many years ago wasn't a concern... so now, these days, the Environmental Protection Agency put a stop to this. At Least it's "hip" (lol) and environmentally friendly... But no actual chrome wheels here. *I'll have my Master in 3 days and I'll let you know how these pseudo-chrome rims look and hold-up to riding, etc. - Thank you, R.A.D.
