Thank you to Harville Farms for the inspiration! 🧡
I've made this bread all the time, it's now become my cinnamon raisin bread recipe! I've mixed it with wheat flour, and made it into rolls, the possibilities are endless! This is by far the easiest bread recipe I've made without my bread machine. One little trick I've learned, is to wait to heat the oven until it's in the pan, and sit on the top of the stove to give it about 10 minutes to rise further, and with the raisins it will make it a bit lighter. {When I roll it up with cinnamon sugar & raisins it needs that extra time} I'm so glad to see Patara looking so healthy, and feeling good! Answered prayer!
That sounds delicious! Definitely going to try that variation
Nothing better than the smell of fresh baked bread.
Patera, sometime last year you posted a no knead bread recipe that I tried. It was my first time ever making yeast bread at home, and your video inspired me to make my own bread from here on out. I have made so much bread, and have graduated to using sourdough in my rotation. My whole family loves it and I've saved a ton of money.
I’m currently doing a sourdough starter ,, my first time!,, it’s time consuming but a learning process,, 🍞🤞
Same for me! My family loves my bread. Thank you Patera from Canada!👍
That no-knead artisan bread recipe was so good! It made it into my regular rotation, too! Made a gluten-free version for my grown daughter by just using gluten-free cup for cup flour, and she loves it!
@@salonsavy6476 As you learn and get comfortable it gets lets time consuming and no discard.
@@salonsavy6476I’m doing sourdough too. It’s taken me a while to finally get in the swing of keeping and using it but it’s worth the effort. I’ve found lots of recipes besides bread: scones, waffles and my favorite, cookies!
I once made a loaf of bread about 50 years ago, but tomorrow I am going to make this bread!!
You go girl‼️And happy baking❗️
That's so cool! Let us know how it goes!
Not to worry about the measurements, Patera. My grandma always said recipes were a guide not set in stone. She always tweeked hers! Thanks for an easy to follow recipe!
My mom always used her hand when she measured ingredients!🥰
I love your grandmas quote. I absolutely agree withher. ' "😊not set in stone "
My mom would yell at you for not using the same loaf 🍞 pans.
Guess what this "guy" is doing in the morning?! Yup, making TWO, 2, ✌️, loaves of bread! 🍞🍞 Thanks for the video!
Awesome!
In answer to her video on “hey you guys” 😂
I got a kick out of watching you put the recipe together. It reminded me of the way my dear granny cooked. She was a fabulous cook, but she hardly ever measured things. She made a verrrry best pies and I wanted to learn from her. Went for my lesson: pie crust-put in the flour in until it comes to about here in the bowl, put about this much salt in the palm of your hand and mix it in with the flour, then put in two scoops or about this much lard in-the went on and I finally ask about exact measurements and she said, honey you can feel when it’s just right. Well I never got my just feel right together, never could make them like hers. I’m now 75 years old and I can still remember the taste of those pies, my mouth is watering right now.
❤️😊
That's so sweet and I know just what you mean, my grandmother was the same way... delicious pies, cakes. I'm 73, make pretty good pies, cakes, bread, rolls, but I have to stick to measurements, haha😊
LOL. My Grammy would say the same thing ❤
Going to make this tomorrow! We’ve got 8-10 inches of snow coming on top of the 8 we already got so we will be hunkered down all day. And I already know this is going to be a keeper so I wrote the recipe out on a card and it’s in my recipe box. Stay warm and safe everyone!
You must be near me in Nebraska lol. Got 13 inches on Monday, getting another 6 to 10 tonight! Snow Week!
Western Illinois here....2nd Winter Storm Warning this week that will become Blizzard Warning later today. I am gonna try this bread too. Total comfort food! ❤🍞
Same here, I'm in Eastern Nebraska and we are "enjoying" our wintery weather too. 😉
NW Iowa girl here...I've been baking up a storm...lol
I’ve been dying to make my first loaf of homemade bread!! Thank you so much for posting this! 2 loaves might be a bit much for us so I plan on taking the other loaf to my sweet 80 year old neighbor - I can’t wait!
Yay! I've been waiting for this this bread recipe video to drop. Squirming with excitement just like Olive looking at that warm slice with butter and jam. Thanks for sharing it, Patera. 😋
You are the highlight of my evenings. You are a classy and excellent teacher.🍎 I am a retired high school teacher -- Home Economics and English.
Love this woman’s soul. The singing was great.
You can tell that she REALLY can sing! I love it!!
For breakfast every morning, my grandfather would have a slice of my grandma'a homemade bread with butter(made from their cow's milk) and homemade strawberry jam. Every morning without fail❤
The pup knows it good.
Forget about Panera bread, this is PATARA BREAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞
I absolutely love this video and the Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff.
People have baked for years without scales and fancy equipment. Many years ago, I thought, It cannot be so difficult.
I sometimes get a loaf that looks like a magazine cover and sometimes it’s just plain ugly. But ya know what? They both taste delicious.
Be not afraid, you young gals.
God bless you ❤
Thank you. I'm going to make it tomorrow. Getting bad weather and nothing is better than homemade bread baking in the oven on my way cold winter day. Love you
I made this bread Saturday night! Ate it with hamburger stroganoff! I didn’t even hand kneed it! Just dumped on parchment paper
I could sit for hours listening to you talk!
Sorry about your broken dish ❤
Looks really good. I can only imagine the beautiful smell of it.
nothing better than home baked bread !!!!!!.......for those afraid , there is even no -knead bread !!!1..... it is the first breads I ever made and I was hooked after that !!!
Looks yummy! Can't wait to have a slice or 3 or 5!!
I'm now addicted to this bread. Thanks a lot. 😜
Tdaywas a hustle gettn ready fr the Cold snap ..sounds like a good indor sport in the COLD YUMMMY
I made this bread yesterday, my first time making bread by myself. What a success, thank you Patara!
Love how your doggie was hoping for a bite!!!! ❤
Love baking, especially when it's cold out . Think I'll make bread this weekend. 😊
I just finished maple snickerdoodles for neighbor.😋
So sorry about your sugar bowl getting broken. I know how things happen for sure. Love that the emphasis is on fast, good, easy bread and not on picture perfect. I made a batch yesterday in my auto baker that my Mama gave me years ago. I let it mix and rise in the baker, but removed it and shaped it. Made my first hamburger buns (6) and 1 loaf from the same recipe. Almost the same recipe as yours, no honey, though. BTW, every time I see you milking, I miss our Nubian girls so much.
I'm going to try this one! I love cooking. Sadly, I haven't mastered baking. Thank you so much for your relaxed ways. ❤
just made bread too only had one loaf pan so i made some rolls in a muffin tin
I was thinking of doing that. Did it work well?
I know what’s on my agenda for tomorrow ❤ thank you for this video! God Bless!
Looks great! Will try this! And I have strawberry jam for this!! Yummy!!
Definitely baking this bread on Sunday! Can’t wait. Thanks so much Patera!

I always enjoy your background music 🎶
Looks so yummy, Patara! Blessings to you.
I watch your videos for many reasons, but hearing you sing just makes me so happy. I could listen to you all day. I start reminiscing on the songs and can't get them out of my head!
OMG Partara. Excellent recipe. I have never done bread the old way, just a bread machine. Your instructions were so easy to understand. That you thank you. I cut the recipe in half, as it is just me and hubby.
Can’t wait to try it when I get back home!
YAY!!! I’ve been waiting for this video! Thx so much Patara!!!💜
Thank you, I will try this recipe.

Making the bread right now. Thanks for sharing, love ya girl.
Thank you for a wonderful, quick bread recipe! I cant wait to try it out! My daughter will be excited too! She absolutely loves making your coal miner's cake recipe! Hope yall stay safe and warm this upcoming week! Much love from East Texas!
So excited! Made half receipe cuz It's just me but it turned out beautiful. I wasn't sure I could bake a good loaf of bread! Thanks Patera!
Finally made this 😁 I used my breadmaker on dough setting as I always do. Came out great. Lol I also use my dishwasher to proof when its cold. I put the dough in there after I have run and emptied it. Maybe someone out there can use my hacks 😉
Patera, Thank you so much for sharing such amazing, but simple and affordable recipes. I am no longer a special occasion baker. 🎉😊🎉 We now have homemade baked goods for atleast one of our meals each day. 💗My husband is absolutely loving it, so when I mentioned being curious about learning to mill my own grains, he did not hesitate to get what was needed. He even spent 5 hours today assembling a hutch, to give me a place to mill easily. Our kitchen is tiny, so this is a tremendous blessing.
Although, I am excited about the mill, I agree with what you teach about needing back ups for your backups. So, one day next week, I will be making your one hour bread. 💗😊💗
God bless you Patera!
We made the bread tonight and OMG 😍🤤 I made 1 exactly by recipe, and the other half I added herbs and spices. Y'all HAVE TO MAKE THIS!!!
Along with our bread I baked pork chops and mom made a squash casserole 🖤
Oh yes thank you. I'm making this Friday while the snow is blowing outside!
Thank you Patera. It looks good. Melbourne Australia
Been there!
Looks great. I'm to try it this weekend. Thanks
Heads up, gluten-free folks! Should be able to make this bread by substituting any gluten-free cup for cup flour in place of the AP flour. Might just need a little extra rising time. About to give it a try! 🤞
How did it go?
I was thinking about that. Would like to know how it works out.
My son made this bread on Friday, it was so delicious. He used red wheat that he freshly ground, and he did not add the honey. We had butter and homemade jam on it, oh so good. We will be making this for years. Thank you for the recipe.
I’m going to give it a try. Thank you Patara. God Bless and much love. So happy your better ❤️🙏❤️🙏
This is almost like the bread recipe ive been making for 17yrs ❤ I use 2/3 cup of sugar though and no honey..but yes its delish! 😊
Looks delicious and hot with butter and jam.............oh yes!!!!!!!!!! Yummmmm Thanks Patera!!
Blessings
Yay I have been waiting for this 🍞 ❤
WOW ❤ can't wait to try to make it!! Yummy 😋
I love baking bread. I’m going to follow this recipe today. My treat to myself is to always get the first warm piece smattered with butter! Yum! I can’t wait!!
I just made the bread while the bread was rising and baking I made Tuscan soup and Italian salad. What a wonderful bread!!! My dough was sticky so I added a bit of flour while kneading.
Oh that looks so yummy and God Bless y'all and prayers for all of us..
I'm so excited. Thank you so much. Can't wait to do it. 💗💗
Good morning Patara, so looking forward to trying this. Bread in an hourish
If you put a long enough strip of parchment paper you can use it to lift the bread out of the loaf pan. I lick how this shows how easy it is to make a lovely loaf of bread. I judge doneness by temperature. In normal altitudes, 205 Fahrenheit is perfect.
Thanks for sharing this quick yeast bread recipe❣
Thank you Patara. God Bless
Wow! Looks pretty simple! And I can imagine it smells fantastic! Thanks! ❤️
Thanks Patara
Made this bread today and it was easy and it tastes amazing ❤ I’m snowed in here in the mountains of KY. 8 to 9” Sunday/Monday and another 4 or 5” today. This bread saved my sanity 😂 Thank you girl!!
I’ll be trying this one for sure! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks Darlin'! ❤❤❤
Evening y’all! Things are heating up!!!
Everyone needs to make bread theses days!! Look at the ingredients on the wrapper!! Thanks Patara!!
Great music with your videos
Oh heavens I had that kinda day yesterday. Got a new fridge, had to take door off of it and the house, then it wouldn't fit in the kitchen (yeah my fault) so my 19 year old took off 100 yo trim. We damaged the cord getting it in. I was cutting bread and sliced my thumb pretty bad, thank God for nails. lol Today is a new day. Of course its a snow storm and I have to work this morning so hopefully I can get there and back without issues.
Thanks Patara I’ve been looking for a quicker loaf as my rustic loaf takes about 4 hours. I’ll be making this today for sure. ❤
Finally tried this. Delicious! First time making bread. Thank you for recipe
I've made bread by hand the last 12 years and this one beats anything I've ever seen for simplicity and easy for beginners. If my boys eat you got a winner. I'm going to try it and let you know because boys will eat you out of house and home in growth spurts.
That’s how I make my bread but adding I. The honey I will need to try that!
Oh man, I felt that sugar bowl going down...I swear I rolled my eyes and did the deep sigh.. u know the one that says " arrgggggghhhh my garden, I don't have time for this!"
This looks delicious!! Thank you for sharing, I’ll be trying this out tomorrow. Much love!❤️
When I was 12, I drove with my Grandma to Birchdale Minnesota(6 miles from Canada) to visit her uncle and aunt. They were celebrating their 75th Anniversary! Her countertops were wood and she made bread on them every morning. The spot she used for mixing and kneading was seriously dished out from decades of use. The cupboard directly below was a tip out bin that held a 50 pound bag of flour. I treasure these memories. And yes the bread was wonderful.
My grandson has been asking for my homemade bread...looks like he'll get his wish tomorrow since we're having a tornado watch day off from school here in Alabama! Thanks, Patera!
I'm making this tomorrow! Thanks, Patara!
Making this for the second time today! Yay 😊 thanks for sharing!
I can almost smell it. Yum!😊
I made this for supper tonight, and Oh my Goodness! It is scrumptious! ♥️
Patera..i made your bread today.. oh it turned out nicely.. simple and good!!!!
Thanks for sharing your receipe.
Love this bread! So easy to make and tastes wonderful! Love watching your videos!
Olive says WHERE'S MINE?? This seems pretty easy. I may have to give it a try!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe. Just made it and its delicious. Specially the sweetness from the honey. Thanks again....
Thank you so much Patara! That bread looks amazing! I have a similar recipe that calls for 2 eggs and it’s made with milk instead of water, and butter instead of oil. It’s a rich yellow. I can’t wait to try this! It looks amazing! And honey is always wonderful!
made this bread last night to go with our beef stew, delicious!
Definitely will make this!😘❤🙏🏻✨
