A lot of great figures this year, but for me the top 5 are: 1. Legacy Magmatron 2. Legacy Tigerhawk 3. Legacy Silverbolt 4. TFONE Takara Brave commander Optimus Prime 5. TFONE Prime changer Alpha trion. I also got a few great older figures like The original BW Tigerhawk, Big Convoy and Depth charge.
Missing Link Optimus won for me this year. Chatting with a hero of mine Simon Furman at TFNATION and then walking across the room to meet Gregg Berger was my best collective memory. Gregg did loads of Grimlock movie lines for my son, and it was amazing.
I have both the carded Unicrons. The Japanese original colour version is very cool. They look awesome together on display and I never thought I would own a prototype Unicron in any way, shape, or form, so to now have 2 is even more amazing.
I wanted to like that Dinoking... But I was not a fan of the designs .. loved the original.! Same with Magmatron..he could have been so much better....
The lack of hip skirts on SS86 Optimus was the only disappointment when I handled one... they have been like rocking horse poop in the uk, so I still dont have one, and same with so many of my friends. They got it wrong with Optimus over here.
