Wheeler Lake smallmouth

I teamed up with longtime fishing buddy , Barry Maner of Decatur, AL, for a great fishing day on Wheeler Lake . We started off buzzbaiting several good keep sized smallmouth early on shady, weedy banks. Then we cast netted small shad which we drop shot on the river channel and barge tie ups catching bass 4-5 pounds!
