As a teenager in the early 80s, this song was played all the time on an obscure machine called the radio.
Most of us dismissed this song as a movie song, a country song, etc.
As a working man now, the words to this song really resonate, the tune is catchy, and makes you want to dance.
Dolly is a legend! A great cover by your group! She would probably approve.
If I closed my eyes, I would have guessed the singer was born and bred in Nashville.
It takes a lot of brass to cover Dolly but it takes even more skill to make it right 🤯 Chloe nails it with a hammer! 😏
You can clearly see the joy on the faces of these talented artists. When you love what you do, it's hardly working… Darren's basement is the place to be if you love music and collaborating with talented artists -Great job as always everybody! 🎤👌👏❤

I was wondering when Chloe would be doing Dolly ever since I seen her and Nikki sing Jolene. Chloe should be the go to person for all Dolly songs! Support from Darren, Melissa, Damien, Mario, and the Pickin' and Twangin' Crafty, was fantastic as usual Everything about this performance was almost perfect, it was only missing the signature Mario stick twirl finish! 🤣
Yet again, reminding us of how a largely forgotten song is much better than we ever remembered it to be.
