Remember waiting in line for a beer at Chicago’s Aragon ballroom in 1990 at a Jane’s Addiction gig and hearing the opening band. Heaviest riffs with this lurking pounding dude in shorts with a huge pissed off Sun tattoo on his back killin it... My introduction to the Rollins Band!!! Saw then so many times after thru the 90’s, in 91 also at the first Lollapolloza.
this album has to be one of the most uplifting albums ever, at least lyrically. I'm off the opinion that every teenager should be exposed to this album, the subject matter is so inspiring and important and most of all just positive.
Everyone should be exposed to this wisdom!! Before you step in the traps of a narc! But you can't see it coming you can just feel that something is not real! So almost real is a real song! ;)
End of silence tour 92 Austin Texas ......Tool opened up...near the end of the show the Butthole Surfers did a free style with the Rollins Band.....bad ass.....I was 19 or 20.....we drove up from Laredo TX.....was a rowdy and violent concert.
@@miccysenpai9334 Fuck yeah!!!!!! Seen him on last tour. Yeah I know I missed the best shit. BUT, I drank beers with Gregg Ginn in Lansing in 2014 Black Flag tour. Too much to txt. Great time!
Saw Rollins band in Austin 92 ....this jam made the whole fucking venue go insane.....patrick....Rollins should consider a retrospective tour of past songs....when this covid shit is under control.. ..patrick
Definitely one of the best albums ever. It totally helped me up during a rough part of my life and I'm glad I got to shake Henry's hand and thank him. Thanks again Henry.
Such a killer song and a great band!!!!!! Rollins tapped into my teen angst and 20 some year later I'm back for the music... And yeah his thing touches me too. Great Heavy Metal. Period.
End of Silence tour 92 Austin....wow so loud and fuckin' rowdy....I wasn't even old enough to drink at the bar....I'm 49 now.... think about it..... time flies....
Austin, late 92.....Tool (pre fame) open Rollins Band, End of Silence tour @ Backroom......almost real... detonates the crowd......best song of the night .....Butthole Surfers/ Rollins Band jams for a finale.....after show Paul Leary hot rod flame job Mercury? haveing car trouble.
This song calls out women better than anything I've ever heard. Expose your sons to it, so that they may safeguard their hearts. And show it to your daughters, so that they may know the outcome of poor decisions so that they may avoid making them.
Nothing beats this album. Period.
Man, when your feeling down or sad, listen to this album, lifts you up from the battle and gives you a new shield and armor....
Bravo! Well said.
The best album of the Rollins band
Aleksandar Todosijevic Agreed!
No question about it
1.) End of Silence
2.) Weight
3.) Come in and Burn

Never met this guy, but he knows my relationships with amazing accuracy...
I think "Love song " is one of his best...I believe it's on Hard Volume.
This one, Hard Volume, Turned on, and Weight are definitely the best ones....
