Hello Jen, I will try to keep this message as short as possible. My name is Chris and i'm a Canadian Cypriot living in Cyprus now and hopefully soon to move somewhere in Canada or US. I'm a beginner in the world of lure making and painting. Of course this is combined with a huge passion i have for fishing and soon i will start my RUclips fishing channel. I always was into painting and DIY but never in such a level. I started getting more deep into it and as more i get the more excited i am. One of your videos, as i was doing some search in RUclips, popped up. After that you know what happened. For the last month i started watching your videos from the beginning. I watched mostly all of them so you do the math how many i was watching per day :). I wrote down noted almost 6 pages. I was waiting until i will manage to come to this point to express my gratitude and appreciation on what you do. I cannot thank you enough for all the knowledge you gave to me. You are a superstar and this channel deserves more attention and much more views. Keep on doing what you do and inspiring people. i think at 28 minutes, before the dots, the colors you have would make an awesome big pike/muskie jerkbait. I know its not a finished bluegill bait yet I just think its already a great bait... awesome random with purpose coloring that is still custom.

Curious, as I am just getting started. Do you ever use “non-airbrush” specific acrylic paints - perhaps thinned? I’ve found some colors in that realm that I really like/need that I cannot find from companies like Createx and so I am just wondering. Also, you’re super awesome and have inspired me to take up this hobby that aligns with my passion for fishing. Thank you for what you do.

Is it a rule never to dip joined baits in KBS? So you brush it on joined only?
Brush or spray. Never dip. Dipping will destroy the movement in the joints.

I see you pouring the paint right into the brush?
Do you thin the paint? Because I got some createx paints that say I can using it without thinning. But it seems too thick to me. And it will Clog my brush. But I have a cheap battery operated on for about $60. It works great if I thin all my paint.
Now since I found your channel. I have purchased the Iwata Eclipse and Badger 155 for T shirts.
Do the air compressor brushes like these use a bit thicker paint like yours doing because you can adjust air the pressure?
I use Eclipse. I hardly ever have to thin my paints. 🙂

Amazing Job Jen. I was gonna ask how many coats of KBS you put on big baits like that but luckily you answered that for me. And I don’t finish sentences as well! Mosquitoes have subsided here in Michigan cause everything has been so dry so they literally have died off so that’s welcomed but smallest amount of rain will cause them to be a giant pain!!! Right at the end you Saran wrapped your brush??? Curious why you did that??? As always great job Jen keep it up. :)
I had more to brush later within the next hour off camera and I didn't want to burn through another brush 🙂 I save every penny I can when it's practical

I carve my own lures. I made 11 in the last week. All getting epoxy coating now. My question is,do you know anyone who would buy carved unpainted lures ? I am trying to make a few bucks on the side because I love carving. In May I will post pics and vids. Thank you for sharing and take care.
