What a great conversation. Hair loss runs in my family, and as a teenager, I used to think it looked cool and manly, maybe it's because of video games and action movies. However, when I started experiencing it myself, I began to rethink. Watching this video has helped me regain my confidence and feel more prepared for the future. Great work with the beard as well.

His answer: "HELL NO, i mean i like it on Michael, not on me, i would hate this haircut on me for sure!"
honestly, when I first saw him, I thought he was in his mid 30s! To hear that he was barely 20. He looks so much younger with his hairstyle great job on the both of you! What a handsome young man he is! And so are you the barber!

That haircut & beard groom is so much better! What a difference. I also understand about running his fingers through his hair. I had chemo this year & lost my hair. I missed brushing my hair, but also washing it. There's a joy in being able to wash & massage one's hair that's lost when one is bald (& I was bald all over, albeit temporary, except my cancer will kill me). I hadn't thought that men might lose the joy of running their fingers through their hair as we women do. I feel for him, yet this barber gave him q much better styled hairdo that suits his hairloss. When you started on the beard, I said, “That's MY haircut!” I have more hair, but it's getting thinner and greyer. Honestly, that is the haircut that I get from my barber. I love it for me, and it looks great on him. Really validates my faith in my barber. You did a great job on Pip.

I think the reason why this series is so popular is that people who are balding at various stages want to know what they can do with their hair. It is a very difficult situation and many people say to just shave it all immediately, but I don't think everyone wants to look that way and they're hoping there is something in between.

Most of the men I've dated have blonde hair (maybe it's because I'm blonde, and it's said that you often date the mirror image of yourself). Also, when men have blonde hair, they tend to lose it earlier. The men I've dated are almost always very good-looking, bald, or not bald, but their personalities matter the most.
Soooo…I’ve seen dang near every one of dans RUclips videos, and definitely every ep. of both hair loss series…I have to disagree with this vid, which is very rare! One, I can’t believe Dan missed an opportunity for hair fibers with this one!?! Hair loss series…that was a layup! Think the fibers would have completely changed this look. And Two, he did his best, but as a guy who has gone through this exact thing, it’s time to flip your mindset and invent the new you, brother. I’d vote for the shave and grow out an awesome beard! You can tell you could grow a killer one. Rather than focusing on getting to the barber every two or three weeks to touch up this haircut (I know from experience), find an awesome beard barber and make all of your hair focus go towards that. Life is just not fair sometimes.. nobody should have to face this until they are in their 50's at least... he made the right decision and also very brave to just make the decision to shave it.
Awesome job! Hair and beard!! Handsome lad!! This type of hair loss is genetic. And the bald gene is carried by the daughter. My father was had far less hair by 25 and both my brothers has a full thick head of hair because my mothers father did not lose his hair. My father was totally bald at 64 with wispy thin hair by the ears and the back. If I had sons, they would go bald at a young age. On the same hand my sister in laws father also had this genetic type of hair loss, not as severe as MY father, but my nephew also started with hairloss in the front and on the crown at age 21 or 22. I wish we had these products available her in South Africa for the younger generation!! Not every bdy can afford hair transplant procedures. Thank you for a great episode!!
The problem is there aren't enough barbers like Dan, as many times as I went with my son or partners to barber shops it was every single time a "get em clipped and out of the chair" attitudes, shop after shop, time and again. Having been a stylist myself it made me crazy!

I wish there were a barber like you in my area but nope, there isn’t one. I’d love to get a great confidence boosting cut one day.

There are many people who choose to go chrome dome who don't have the right head shape for it. I think this guy has nothing to feel bad about. He is a good looking dude, with a great head shape. The cut is great! Could go chrome dome and still look great. Wear it with pride, man.
