Great video Lane and Seth! Nice to see the concaves being changed and all the other work you've done on the combine. Best wishes for your harvest. Very pleased to see the next generation of farmer riding with you. Thanks for the video!
good to see you getting started again. don't have to post every day, but be regularl . content is pretty awesome, but you get impatient and run away. stick with your regular you tube, there are a lot of us out here wanting to follow . good video, and well done.
While changing concaves, getting proper air pressure in tires, getting the calibration done properly, ... all interesting and important, the most important thing: "Relative truth is not a thing - you've got to remember that." Yes, just as an inch is an inch, so also truth is absolute. Our post-modern world rejects this idea which has led to much conflict and chaos. Good advice for your nephew, Seth, ... and for everyone.
There has to be a better way to take out the sieves - could you take out the one on the right, then slide the next ones over to that position to take out? I don't remember other farmers having that much trouble but I will keep an eye...
new to your channel, keep up the good work. I'm 15 and I started a RUclips channel about farming. do you have any RUclips advice? great video, keep them coming.
Why do so many farmers wait til the last minute to get machinery and bins ready for harvest? Also I see farmer channels where they change from corn to beans and back again maybe twice a day. Do some combines not require the changing of concaves between crops?
That is a sweet looking 2588 with a really clean grain sample, great job!
Cute little helper you had there!

Good video Seth, good to see you back posting I'm assuming work has been busy for you? I hope Ben is also doing well?
Sheesh! Those concaves look to be a pain in the Rotary to take out.
Great to see you back posting
Nice video

We had the conclaves out once before and didn’t have any issues. The problem is the new tires that we put on which are quite a bit taller and wider.
Awesome video! I'm hoping to have a harvest video up next week. How'd ur hay season go this year?
are they labeled?

Don’t make them boring
@@jackleigh2849 thanks
I'm waiting for you to catch a deer Ryan.
@@benedict_323 me to lol.
don't you wory about all that compaction from high tier pressure
What brand of concaves are those? How do you like them so far?
Kondex. They did very well in soybeans. It is hard to evaluate them in corn yet because corn is shelling so hard this year.
Is beans also organic? Yields?
We did have some transitional beans but they did not do so well because of white mold.
@@farmerontheprairie wider row’s might be better option. Have a blessed harvest season 🙏🙏

These concaves work for both. We were just putting them in as an upgrade.
