If your harp is "C", the guitar plays in "G" for the blues. If the harp is an "A", then the guitar plays in "E". Notice the guitar plays in the 5th of whatever key the harp is. The root note is the "blow 3rd hole" or the "draw 2nd hole". Ta-daa!

Howdy Li'l Chuck!! I commend you in tackling this. "Feel" is a hard thing to teach. I'm just starting with the one man band deal, but at different times I've played (individually) drums, guitar and harp which is an advantage. By the way, I can't use the dog gone rack because of constant slippage. I'm getting a boom stand. Thanks Chuck!
Thanks for your kind words Steve! yep, so true... I have been pondering how to present this lesson for ages so I just gave it a shot and hopefully it works! Yep the racks can be dreadful! I have tried one of those magnetic holders on a boom stand but i felt I couldn't get enough 'bite' on it... there was so much movement because of the angle and height of the boom it was very wobbly had hard to control....Good luck! always happy to help where I can :)
Cool Chuck. Thanks for your reply and I hear what you're saying. I'll have to see what works best and I've already resigned myself to the fact that regardless of what I device I use, there will be a certain amount of tweaking that goes along with it. I'm also working on a clamp that easily attaches to the body of the guitar without hurting it, coupled with a harp holder. Nothing around my neck. Thanks!!

Very cool Chuck. I really appreciate your reply and the information you provided! I'm starting to get a little excited about this because it's something I've always wanted to do and I'm also thinking I can make a few bucks playing for folks in and around California where I live.
Sir , could you please tell me which other key diatonic harmonica are necessary besides the key of C. Also , may I please know what harmonica holder, you are using.

Dear sir , I I have one concern regarding mouth organ that people say who practice mouth organ or any mouth instrument soon they lost their vocal singing ..Is it myth or true. Does mouth organ harm singing vocal if practice?
Hi Rajat, personally i have never heard of harmonica affecting ones voice. For me, with 25 years professional singing and harp playing, my voice (and harp playing) seem to get better and stronger and better with every passing year.

@@lilchucktheonemanskifflema2214 Thanks Chuck..Lip blocking? This is new to me mate! Will have to investigate more😎👍
@@michaelwylie8564 Lip block is just the term I use for what others may call lip purse / pucker... I looked into Harmonica Embouchure terminology a bit deeper today (for my oven re eduction and development) and found this video by @Ronnieshellist and my approach is quite similar to the way he approaches the instrument. good luck! ruclips.net/video/M2oZ8oBwuMw/видео.html
Thanks!!
yep, the never ending journey of finding out what gear works for YOU!... good luck on the voyage :)... by the way, if you get to the point of looking at amplified rack harp then this is the go....ruclips.net/video/p5yP9GC0zLU/видео.html Outstanding!!!!
Very cool Chuck. I really appreciate your reply and the information you provided! I'm starting to get a little excited about this because it's something I've always wanted to do and I'm also thinking I can make a few bucks playing for folks in and around California where I live.
Cool man, do it!😃
What kind of harp are you jamming on
A 10 hole diatonic harmonica.
I have a low F so what do I do!?
Play Blues in the key of C
I'm trying to figure out which harmonica to use for my guitar chords in A7, D7, A7, E7, A7. Do you have a recommendation?
If you are playing 2nd position Harp then a D harp, or and A harp for first position.
What key is that harp in mate?
All the key info is in the video
Probably the best d@mn harp tutorial Ive watch!
Very kind Mikel. Thank you :)
Sir , could you please tell me which other key diatonic harmonica are necessary besides the key of C.
Also , may I please know what harmonica holder, you are using.
Cheers :), here are 2 videos explaining keys and racks. ruclips.net/video/gtL4pVOHBBA/видео.html

Sir , thank you very much for your reply. Really appreciated.
You are playing inside, the weather is warm. Try playing in cold weather. I live outside, show me how you play outside in the cold !
Believe me, I know what is like to play in the bitter cold.
that was great, where are you playing live ? busking ? video's ? by the way , what's the key of "E" ? just kidding . lol
Thanks Michael, I play live mainly in Christchurch, New Zealand and will in fact be playing at the world buskers festival here in January. My gig guide is on backyardmusic.co.nz As for vids of my playing live, I have tons of them on this YT Channel plus on my Li'l Chuck Facebook page. :) :)
THANK YOU FOR THE UPDATE. I'LL BE LOOKING FOR MORE VIDEO'S AND HAVE A GREAT NEW YEAR MATE
What brand guitar do you play?
I play many different brands of guitar, the one in this video is a 'Loar'
Dear sir , I I have one concern regarding mouth organ that people say who practice mouth organ or any mouth instrument soon they lost their vocal singing ..Is it myth or true. Does mouth organ harm singing vocal if practice?
Hi Rajat, personally i have never heard of harmonica affecting ones voice. For me, with 25 years professional singing and harp playing, my voice (and harp playing) seem to get better and stronger and better with every passing year.
@@lilchucktheonemanskifflema2214 Thanku sir fir quick reply and for good counselling
Do you know I love your lessons I’ve only just started listening to them but I really do like him but without trying to be funny in anyway try and have somebody okay if you listen to your video you’ll realise that you’re in a lesson you must say over 100 times and it what it is I’m sure I’m not the only one you’ve just wait for the okays to come out and don’t take into much of the lesson but anyway thanks ever so much for your time and I should carry on listening to them as long as I can even with you okay
Nice one glad you like it... ok :) I have a new music video releasing this week so please make sure you have your notifications on, ok and a new album ready for release right here, ok :) skifflemachine.bandcamp.com/album/so-lo
OKAY
harmonica isn't popular in Turkey I wish Turkish subtitles though
goood
Right...........Time to wake the neighbours
do it! Enjoy :)
This guy plays great harp intuitively and there is no short cut to that.
Get out a “A” harp. Add some “E” bogie …..
Develop. your own timing by seeing what licks you can easily do with your guitar.
This is not Getty of RUSH singing and playing complex bass parts simultaneously.
this one is pretty complex :) ruclips.net/video/PCV9k1Q4tNQ/видео.htmlsi=Q1HPtTHe7_KJy0Et
Outstanding. Being your own harp accompaniest adds a whole different dynamic.

Chuck! You need to slow down..... If you want us to understand your concepts, take a deep breath and remember we all can't do it that fast......
