- Nanny has had some trouble decluttering her wardrobe as she pulls out sweaters, jackets and capes…everything is a ‘fave’….and is not going into the purge pile…..Meanwhile she has had a new GOODWILL Haul and Some WALMART bargains…and purging is at a halt! We see a bit of the winter garden and the beautiful view of the snowy mountains…and receive some Happy Valentine’s Day wishes from The Lady in Red. ❤️

You are so beautiful and when you were trying on your clothes, I thought to myself how you could wear a top full of holes and you would make it look good. Nanny please don't fret about a little mascara gone awry. . What you see in the magnifying mirror is really not noticeable to us. I marvel at how beautiful your skin and makeup are and I love that you cook and hit the bargain shops and share with all of us. I lost my husband of 56 year about 20 months ago so I love and envy the closeness that you and Moosie share. I'm 75 and pray that God will keep me as he has you into my eighties. May God bless you and your family with many more years together

PS. You look stunning in that rosy red sweater with the black floral cardigan. Definitely your color! Every time I purge I have purged what I ended up needing. My purging is now limited to ill fitting or unflattering pieces only.

Nanny, that’s why I love you. My mother was a collector and an antique store owner for 45 years after she was a hairdresser for 10 years. The older I get the less I purge ha ha.
Oh how lovely to have a fashion show again!! - I specially loved the sweater coat, with flowers on it!! Never purge something that you enjoy wearing!! The sunglasses are ab fab!!
I think the eyelashes need to be dry probably. - I usually smear mascara on the inside of my glasses. And later I make sure to rub my eyes, and I'll do this only after I've left the house! I actually never noticed you had a bit of black on the eyelid.
It must have been so great to have sunny weather. -And be able to shop for goodies again!!

Hi Nanny. I love your thrift items. I have to get better at going. I have an eye trick that might work. Put some concealer on your lids as a primer. Not a lot. Just enough to cover eye area. Then use translucent powder over that. It sets your eye area before shadow and liner. It also makes a really nice base your your shadows and takes away the oil. It works great.
