FINALLY BACK TO THE PLOT(?)
Vandham informs us that someone must've sabotaged FrontierNav to cause the encounter with Ga Jiarg. After that he tells us we need to fix a broken data probe in Sylvalum, and to be careful of the Ganglion coming from their base in Cauldros. In said base's weapons hangar, Ryyz and Dagahn take control of a supergiant flying mecha: Zu Pharg, against the orders of a disgruntled Luxaar. The Zu Pharg arrives at the Delusians North Summit, right after my team heads there and Lin fixes the probe (while she has doubts about finding the Lifehold).
Despite preparing for this fight with a higher level, the first phase of the battle with Zu Pharg still catches me off guard, thanks to the equipment of my Skells being pretty basic and the enemy summoning many reinforcements, leading to the Skells getting destroyed a few times. After a few failures, I decide to boost Lin's skell power by buying it a few weapons with stronger power, then in the fight I decide to go back and forth fighting on foot and in Skell to preserve its durability. Getting Zu Pharg to around half HP ends the first phase, the cutscene suggests I was supposed to run from this thing through Sylvalum instead of staying in the mountains lol. The second phase has Zu Pharg transform, its saucer mode deploying huge legs and a bird like body on top. My team gets wrecked like before only now Zu Pharg moves throughout Sylvalum with us having to chase it. Continued into next upload.
