But i wanted to make the Upper Reversal not so free when you are escaping pressure, as in 2D fighting game like Street Fighter, Reversals options (that's where i get the name for the Upper Reversal) often expend resources like Meter, and Reversals are supposed to put both fighters back at neutral in a succesful hit (if not, then the Reversal is punished in 2D games). But if we could make, like you say, faster or being able to feint. Then it gonna make the upper reversal much of a treat. My original idea with that was the enemy couldn't just lower your block and ult you, as the Upper could cancel out the ultimate. With that, it would added mental games where your enemy think if you can throw it or not. Regardless, i am happy of hearing criticism and that my idea was worth enough to make a video to talk about it. I hope the creativity in the UBG community still running wild, and thank you and the UBGcordians for the feedback. 🦉❤
12:30 I would just prefer it to be based on distance between the Hitman and the opponent similar to another suggestion. Now, some things would have to change in order for this to work. Hitman’s Detroit Stance would have to push the opponent to the far reaches of its range. Thus, making it a zoner style. One other idea that I came up on the spot with is this: The Barrier Stance’s Upper Reversal could instead be used while the Hitman is blocking attacks but that’s just an idea and it may need balancing. Or, like you said at around 15:00, just make it very hard to see coming. Now for the Elbow Block, the nerf you suggested would make sense considering how powerful it can be.
I don't like that you want to turn all styles into freedom. Why does the Hitman need 2 racks? as for me, the best thing to do with it is m2 on both sides.(sorry, I'm writing through a translator)
I SUGGEST A GIMMICK FOR HITMAN GIMMICK: HITMAN a reference to a real technique called the philly shell Your offense and defense is a perfect balance to each other having a tight guard that can let you block and parry almost every attack -whenever you hit your ult you'll gain the ability to parry attacks returning a devastating chopping right to either the body or head having the ability to knockback your opponent a good distance and having the same damage as a partial charged slugger heavy your defense is your greatest offense -you'll only get 3 chances to pand your parry ability DOESN'T GO AWAY OVERTIME AND EVEN RESET AFTER A ROUND, IT EILL NOT DISAPPEAR CON: YOUR PARRIES WILL NOT REFILL UNLESS YOU USE THEM ALL LEAVES YOU OPEN FOR A JAB
The problem for that is Mashiba never used the philly shell The hitman style and philly shell can be considered as 2 different styles or when both are used, it would be considered as the detroit style, And the Hitman style is the one that Mashiba is using, and only the hitman style
Ngl, they should also have an R ability for the offensive style, where if your free R + M1 it does a longer range flicker jab that gives you a more end lag that allows for people to close in if you miss it but can be used as a great tool to hit people trying to dash in if you time it right, just a rlly good stay away tool if you really need people to stay away or just to get a bit of extra damage far away, tho tbh I just want this cuz mashiba has insane flicker range and I need that.
iron fist m2 should ignore elbow block and deal more dmg to the hitman user (what made you think you can use that elbow to block a rib breaking punch?)
Switch hit rework idea: Remove the ability but -if right leg is in the front, you can't pd at all only dash -you can't see when the character switches legs only you and you'll see the switch once the boxer will throw a punch.
hitman rework ( my version ) :))) m1: turns into a chain of jabs, hooks and uppercup, slow startup with ghost m1 dmg but it has insane block dmg, one chain has 12 punches but only takes 6 to break freedom smash guard so its still very rewarding and apply great pressure ( slugger anti heal too ) m2: your m2 is flicker jab ??? this is not normal, it operates like a m2 ( no attack chain ) but it has super fast speed ( faster than chronos focus m1 but not instant like ghost jab ), great range and left side only, of course. its damge is just ghost jab but with anti heal ( although the jab has full anti heal but takes 3-4 jabs to delete entirely any amount of healable dmg caused by m1 and ults ) walk speed: hands low dash: normal distance but turtle cooldown block n health: 80 health and freedom smash block passive: your m1 range is nearly non existance ( its range is like when you tap s button three times when standing in front of ur rival ) but you can fix that by landing flicker jabs, each gains you 1 range point ( maximum of 10 ) and at max range, your m1 is like long guard, every m1 thrown will consumes 3 rp. if you have 0-4 rp, starting punch will be an uppercup, from 5-8 will be a hook, 9 and 10 is a straight jab. gaining rp also increase m2 counter dmg, lowest is X1.10, highest is X2.00 also ur m2 cannot feint and m1 feint will result in slower m2 in order for everyone to react hope u like it ty
