I recommend taking a look at Apollyon from For Honor. It's not exactly attractive per se, but personally I think she has one of the most badass female armour designs I've ever seen in gaming. Also the Sisters of Battle from Wahammer 40k have awesome designs too, you should definitely check them out.
“attractive” will always be sexualized. A bunch of people in the comments on this channel have agreed that the actually good armor is also better-looking. Try going through the shorts and looking for the 9/10’s and 10/10’s, and maybe the 8/10’s for a few more tips :)
As a woman, I do not understand how the bad armor is in any way attractive. I didn’t realize “sexy” meant as uncomfortable as possible with a 100% chance of getting you killed.

Because it's just a fun fantasy thing. People don't come to this art for realism, they come to it for something that's fun to look at. So that high shoulder piece is called a Haute Garde and is prevalent is pauldrons worn for tournament and heavy cavalry. Typically when they are asymmetrical like this it is the left arm that is larger but this example is totally a valid design choice to prevent blows from attacking the head.

The 4th one have no problem with the shoulder if it is for jousting, since in jousting they use heavier shoulder in the lance arm, sometime totally removing arm up mobility
Because you don't need to move your arm up in jousting. The shoulder pad actually allows you to rest the back of the lance in between your armpit, allowing for an easier hold of the lance.
The slightly big pauldron on the practical armor might be a bonus if it were on the other side. It is on the common sword side (the side you hold you sword) so most of your blocks will be coming from that side, and it looks like it's intended to stop sword strikes from hitting the neck by making the shoulder take the blow. If it were on the othe side, it would be on the side enemy knights would be having their strongest swings, and thus be the side where a neck hit would be devastating regardless of armor. Your neck is very vital, and the shoulders can take much more of a beating than it can, so let them take one for the team.
assuming the 3rd and 4th ones are the same person I’d think she might not be able to breath properly in the 4th one. Like it’s definitely still more practical that the 3rd but she would probably become out of breath easily since chest binding restricts how much air someone can take in.
Youve got some amazing points but one thing I have always noticed. Despite how well armored 90% of the body, any flaw seems to neutralise anything good about it. A boob window, whilst yes it is unprotected and dangerous should not diminish some sets of armour down to rankings of 1s and 2s.
At this point, I'll just headcannons that these women are in such positions of power or importance that their knights will prevent anyone from touching them or being reached by arrows, hence the blatant exposure of vital organs. Plus the character to endure such uncomfortable things for extended periods of time. Only possible explanation. Otherwise, the creators just want their women killed.

Good rating overall but fo your point on the last one with the gap between the boobs on the plate has been debunked before as it actually isn't a weakpoint given the nature of hardened steel how plate normally has a gap over the torso and a padded garment underneath. I am also fully aware that some of that might not be the case, but still if it's good hardened steel then it shouldn't really matter. And again I do want to say good rating overall.
It's still quite dangerous considering that most of the time, the armor is made to deflect attacks to reduce the impact from the blows. But since theres now a convenient slide in the middle into the ribcage, your enemies can easily hurt and make you suffer blunt damage.
Also all the good armor on these drawings r for small boobs, is it possible to just increase the size so your boobs aren't squished or does that cause instability or something

The last armor looks so weird. 😅 I prefer the cropped 5th armor. Eventhough she'll likely die the minute anyone lunges at her lower torso with a spear.
I would like to argue that slightly exposed thighs is not that big of an issue since it's hard to hit anything there and is generally an undesirable target since there are no vitals and not many nerve endings

He brings fucking questionable on flipping cloth garments. Surcoats in history got pretty long. I fough in the SCA wearing a surcoat that extended to the lower leg. Also, he gave 10 out of tens to females wearing much more mismatched that the 8 out of ten.
There’s a reason I call out his taste for one he double downs on the plated armor not being heavy idea when it was also the thing that annoys about him is the fact he puts his ideas as facts over everyone else when some of these are actually good ideas only wear little armor that doesn’t hold you down
@@toddbata8644 ......Field plate armor is lighter than most people think but the it didn't imbolize is cus it was fitted in a very specific way and fitted to the wearer. But even then, it is still extra 30 to sixty pounds on your body and got heavier when guns were introduced. People that couldn't afford custom fitted armor often ditched leg protection, then arm, leaving just the head and torso covered. Shields also work wonders on covering places not protected via armor. Going to in your tournament set or jousting set would got your cus they were often alot heavier than field harness and not as mobile. Armor can still cover alot and be lather if the pieces are oversized and ill fitting.
Pretty much yeah and let’s add the fact people found ways to past plates amor with blunt weapons or spiked ones also doesn’t help that like you said adding weapons and a shield added weight as well and made it worse

And? Fantasy battles are often more dangerous than real historical battles. Therefore, the people fighting in those battles would be in more danger, so they would need better and/or armour. If you go into battle with your breasts, thighs and stomach out on display, you will get cut up more than a piece of paper in a shredder, especially if you're a frontline soldier, like most of these pictures seem to be depicting.
The amount of times I've heard that the chest/ribcage/legs need to be covered makes me think that'll be one of the questions on the test

The last armor looks so weird. 😅 I prefer the cropped 5th armor. Eventhough she'll likely die the minute anyone lunges at her lower torso with a spear.

I would like to argue that slightly exposed thighs is not that big of an issue since it's hard to hit anything there and is generally an undesirable target since there are no vitals and not many nerve endings
fair point, however the thigh does have a large artery that if cut would quickly bleed out

Also the last ones breast plate is actually a real one out there it was really good and made it more comfortable for women entirely guys also had this on armor and there’s this thing called a junk plate yes it’s a real thing
He brings fucking questionable on flipping cloth garments. Surcoats in history got pretty long. I fough in the SCA wearing a surcoat that extended to the lower leg. Also, he gave 10 out of tens to females wearing much more mismatched that the 8 out of ten.
There’s a reason I call out his taste for one he double downs on the plated armor not being heavy idea when it was also the thing that annoys about him is the fact he puts his ideas as facts over everyone else when some of these are actually good ideas only wear little armor that doesn’t hold you down
@@toddbata8644 ......Field plate armor is lighter than most people think but the it didn't imbolize is cus it was fitted in a very specific way and fitted to the wearer. But even then, it is still extra 30 to sixty pounds on your body and got heavier when guns were introduced. People that couldn't afford custom fitted armor often ditched leg protection, then arm, leaving just the head and torso covered. Shields also work wonders on covering places not protected via armor. Going to in your tournament set or jousting set would got your cus they were often alot heavier than field harness and not as mobile. Armor can still cover alot and be lather if the pieces are oversized and ill fitting.
Pretty much yeah and let’s add the fact people found ways to past plates amor with blunt weapons or spiked ones also doesn’t help that like you said adding weapons and a shield added weight as well and made it worse

And? Fantasy battles are often more dangerous than real historical battles. Therefore, the people fighting in those battles would be in more danger, so they would need better and/or armour.
If you go into battle with your breasts, thighs and stomach out on display, you will get cut up more than a piece of paper in a shredder, especially if you're a frontline soldier, like most of these pictures seem to be depicting.
