This is a great tutorial. Thanks for making it. Both tilt/slide cables had snapped on my R52 (54). Followed this guide, bought the bike cables stoppers etc. Took a couple of hours to do… but final result is both seats now tilt and slide again! Thanks again saved me a fortune.
Fantastic fix, thank you for this, saved ££££s. Had a stuck seat and snapped the cable trying to loosen it. This fix worked like a dream thanks soooo much and repair was complete when coupled with another video post for a fix to force the seat back flat so that it now works perfectly!
