Such a beautiful camera that I'd love to own, albeit for one thing... the screen. If it were a tilting screen, it would probably be in my hands right now. Please Nikon, tilting screens!
Thanks Nikon. I was searching for a small camera for everyday casual use with the look of the FM (I've all of them, but film is... :'( ). And the small mirrorless camera "from another brand" that I've used until recently, well, was less resistant than my old Nikon D5100 and is no longer with us. So, time for another Nikon to join the family.
Absolutely beautiful camera Nikon has created #nikon team great job one more feedback please bring in full frame camera and recreate f3 it will be a big hit please take it seriously
I'm definitely going to purchase this it would be good to do some.. vlogging shoots and a little bit of behind the scenes shoots it's way better than z50 I'm sure for that..
From what I've seen and read in other reviews: weather sealing is supposed to be on par with the Z50, which is a step down from the very high level on the Z6 + Z7 line, but equal to Sony's A7 line (sealing on top and sides, not on the bottom). USB-C port allows charging and powering from an external battery while using, so you could power it indefinitely that way. There's an optional grip already announced (purely ergonomic, for people with bigger hands or who prefer the Z grip style), but no word yet on a battery grip.
The Z fc body is made of a magnesium alloy on the front and top covers and sereebo, a highly durable carbon fibre composite material, on the rear cover.
Hello, Yes, the camera allows for shooting weddings. Are you looking for any specific option to be available on the camera for this purpose? If you have doubts on the camera performance, please feel free to reach out to Nikon Support.
Really love the design, and this is way better than Fuji, because Nikon has better sensors and glass, and the raw images actually look great. Fuji has some of the worst colors of any camera. I'm glad Nikon gave us this camera that represents the heritage the best.
We used the letter "f" that has been used in the names of film cameras that made Nikon history and the Nikon Df because it represents Nikon's heritage that has been inherited from the past to the present, and will be passed on to the future. The letter "f" also represents a fusion between tactile precision mechanics and sumptuous image quality. The letter "c" is used to infer a "casual" approach that encourages frequent use of the camera!
Hi Nikon, in the early 1980´s I had 1 Nikon FM, 2 Nikon FE and 2 Nikon F3 cameras (I love these cameras and still have 1 FM, 1 FE and 1 F3), but I really haven´t like your later cameras since then, the newest Nikon Z fc (what a strange name !) are no exception, only APSC sensor, no IBIS, too large body being an APSC camera and totally lack of professional feeling, I can see why Nikon looses money !!!
Significantly lower resolution than its peers, outdated low res EVF, single card slot and no joystick! Why Nikon, WHY?! You were so closeto a home run with this one!

Please Nikon, tilting screens!
Why tilting? This screen gives more flexibility than a tilting screen.
This little gem is going to sell A TON and be a strong candidate for Camera of the Year. Nikon - you knocked this one out of the park!
I am a proud owner of the iconic FM2 it is my prized possession. The best camera ever made.
on the list :) as a D700 and FM2 ovner, its a must to buy the new Nikon Z fc
Oh! So beautiful! So many memories awaken!!!!
Such a beauty....next one for me. Certainly the everyday cam. D700 for Travels, F80 for initiating my kids...
They should make the F to Z adapter that looks like the older F mount lens

this is awesome! can't w8 to have one of this in my hands

They made it years back with Nikon DF
I'm definitely going to purchase this it would be good to do some.. vlogging shoots and a little bit of behind the scenes shoots it's way better than z50 I'm sure for that..
If Nikon would make a mirrorless equiv for their Nikon S rangefinders - that would be sick!
Finally Nikon heard my complaint about LCD bezel thickness. bravo nikon.
Fantastica 😍
Nikon :- Hey Fuji now lemme do this but I'll do it better
I would mind a monochrome only sensor Zfc with all black body. That would be nice. Even if it is a limited edition version.
From India,, is this camera best for film makers ?
Is there U1/U2 settings in this camera? I don't see that option on any dials but even a quick access on the screen would be great.
No need for. Just learn to set it up and use the PSAM lever for quick switching between Manual and Auto.
schöne Kamera...aber wo bleibt die "Black Edition"?
Shame we cannot get the coloured models in the UK. I would like the grey one. So it will be grey import for me.
The colour variations will be introduced across Europe in the future. Watch this space!
@@NikonEurope Thanks for the update, where do I send my money? :o)
Is sealed? Card slot is on battery compartment? Have or will have battery grip? USB Charge?

and why have the special edition 28mm lens no aperture ring???
Hi, the NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 (SE) features a control ring which can be assigned to change aperture.
What is camera body made of?? Metal alloy like Z6 or plastic like D5xxx series?
The Z fc body is made of a magnesium alloy on the front and top covers and sereebo, a highly durable carbon fibre composite material, on the rear cover.
We need for lenses for dx Z-mount
Can we shoot wedding for this camera ?

Have bought one if it (also) had been a FX
I WANT IT
Super🤩
Sony a6400 or this

Will make a great collector's item for when Nikon goes bankrupt.
"Fuji has some of worst colors" , you are sure ?
@@yam421 Yes, because I used to shoot Fuji before I switched to Nikon.
Heights fps??
What does the term "fc" represent in Zfc cam
We used the letter "f" that has been used in the names of film cameras that made Nikon history and the Nikon Df because it represents Nikon's heritage that has been inherited from the past to the present, and will be passed on to the future. Nikon must be developed in technology or at least equal to Sony.
This is the job of whitewash on the old House. No uses.
Bring this camera in Tilt screen edition.
Beautiful, but at £800 + just wish I could afford one. :-(
We need a FTZ 2.0 adapter with an integrated AF motor.
If only it had a full frame sensor
🤙🤙🤙
Muito linda
Other camera makers: This ^
Mostly look like olympus em5🐶
FUJI XT100 rival
Why not FF

Nikon follow Leica Q2

Wait for the Nikon Z9 and stop putting stupid comments. This camera is not for you (there other people in the World apart from yourself!)
Significantly lower resolution than its peers, outdated low res EVF, single card slot and no joystick!
Why Nikon, WHY?!
You were so closeto a home run with this one!
Get the Z6ii.
No IBIS too.
Get Fuji
Another "iMac M1 syndrome" comment. xD This camera compets with alikes like the XT-30. That has a single card slot, no IBIS, ...
Way worse than XT-4; too little, too late; shame.
