    I rarely give a thumbs down. Anyone in the audience could tape this and make a better video of trap shooting since we're getting only a split-second of it at a time.
    We're not seeing the release and follow - only the shot... kind of annoying... was the editing executed by a bot?

    • @hammerbro1947

      Well, to put it that way, I think an ordinary camera wouldn't be able to capture the clay in high quality, having to swing the camera a bit to where the clay was released, and there's no way to figure out which clay will be shot at which angle. Besides, how can anyone in the audience capture where the shot went if it missed? I don't mean to be harsh but, humans may be editing this type of thing.

      I used to shoot this every weekend here in the U.K, my gun of choice with which I straighted many round was a Miroku Over and under trap gun,, loved it. Tried Browning, Perazzi and even Beretta trap guns but they just did not suit. But I used Beretta for all other disciplines including Rough shooting, both with Side by side and over under's. my rifles of choice were always BRNO. I also have a Trophy shield for beating AAA Metropolitan police shooters.

      @@bikefailsandwins6337 check the proof marks on the bottom of the barrels at the Action end. There will be proof marks there that tell you weather or not the barrels are proofed for steel shot. Consult manufacturer website for different proof house approval marks for shot type.

    They all seem to hit every single clay they shoot, so who wins the competition then?

      Sometimes it comes down to bib number and world ranking on who wins. They have shoot offs and sometimes those tie so bib number lowest wins...

      If everyone has a perfect round in competition they go to a shoot-off. If no clays missed during shoot off. Sometimes multiple shoot-offs required. Then goes to qualification bib numbers. Lower bid number wins. But that rarely happens...

      Sometimes it goes to sudden death and they leave a box of shells by the trap house and they run out and try to get it and kill each other. Only the winner walks away.

    • @JDeffenb
      @JDeffenb 5 лет назад +1

      Yeah, it's fairly interesting. O/U shotguns have among the strongest built and engineered actions which rarely ever malfunction, let alone catastrophically. There's also no brass being ejected, or action cycling openly. It's relatively safe

    • @MrChrissy1r
      @MrChrissy1r 4 года назад +1

      Glasses, even regular prescription glasses can obscure your vision, I wear glasses and missed a 100 straight once because I did not see a fast left going clay, , it was lost in the frame of my specs. Never happened again though, I took my trap guns with me to my friendly spectacle makers and had special glasses made just for trap shooting.

  • @noneya135

    This is worse than watching golf! This would be so much more interesting if they zoomed in on the target during replays of misses etc. I mean they do zoom in but it's so random. The person who commented before me has it right, the editing is off.

    • @hammerbro1947
      @hammerbro1947 4 года назад

      The person before you mentioned it was done by a bot, but I guess we'll never know who's the head chief of that subject. I agree that it's split second zoom in, but missing the clay and finding out how much the shooters missed by is tricky.
