Fenland Freight & Rail Adventure Beggars Bridge, 15th August 2024

A short visit to Beggars Bridge/Turf Drove on what turned out to be a very windy morning. Unfortunately 60096 to Brandon got cancelled, but I still got two Rail Adventure HST PCs, GBRf 69006 and BR Blue 69007 on sand trains, and a handful of other freight workings featuring Freightliner, DB Cargo, and GB Railfreight Class 66s.

Me and my wife stayed in a Airbnb right next to railway lines in Bury st Edmonds was brilliant track out side lounge window and military aircraft /fields around my camera got right bashing

Sounds like a great spot. I used to do a lot of the Anglia military airshows back in the 1980s. Most of my recent visits to Marholm and east of there have had various aircraft overhead, afterburners kicking in every so often.
