I'm not sure if you guys read these, but just in case, I'm 71 years old, I was about 13 or 14 when Paul Simon wrote this song and it's always been a favorite. When I heard Ya'll "Disturbed" do this cover, I actually had goose bumps from head to toe. by the time it got to the end ,I had tears in my eyes. You "Disturbed" have brought a great deal of justice to this great hit, and will carry it's legacy for many, many years. Out of the millions of views of this video, I'm sure at least 1000 are mine. The words to the song, mean as much or more now than when written, so many years ago. Even though I'm not a Metal fan, I will always cherish your version. To say this old man is obsessed with this cover, would be a gross understatement, Carry on, and God Bless ya, and THANK YOU, from a Fan, In Tennessee.

When Disturbed came out with this version of Simon & Garfunels' Sounds of Silence, a lot of people didn't like it. They preferred his hard rock style. In, my opinion, this is the BEST rendition of this GREAT song I've ever heard!!!

I heard someone say that they had listened to this version and they were not impressed and said that Disturbed should not have done the song. I literally listen to Simon and Garfunkels version every couple of weeks because I LOVE the song. Well, the person was wrong. I cannot get enough of this song. Literally sends chills through my body. Every year on my sons bday ( he would have been 28 today ) and passing date I take a day of SILENCE in his memory and listen to this song on repeat all fay and night!!! This is and will always be his song for me!!! Thank you for letting me grieve in SILENCE!!!

One of the best covers ever. I grew up listening to Simon and Garfunkel, this being one of my most favourite. I am almost 60 now. My daughter introduced me to this group. They brought an amazing song to a new generation. Even more powerful, I would have to say.
I'm 64 years old and I remember when this song came out... it was my favorite of Simon and Garfunkels UNTIL I heard David sing this with his raspy, "hear the truth I'm telling you all", passionate voice of his!!!! Good Lord I have goosebumps every time I hear it and even more so when I watch him in the video and the expressions on his face as he belts out this beautiful, sad song.......... 🙏🇺🇸❤️
