The kellogs gummy flakes can kiss my a$$, but the crispy flakes that were lightly sweet, were fire. Like in my house Corn Pops was a big treat and I hated those slimy atrocities. Like my mom would let us have Honey Nut Cheerios like twice a year, but in the meantime the crispy Raisin Bran felt like I was cheating the system. (Without hiding behind cereal boxes so I could dump sugar in my bowl.)
And yet those styrofoam marshmallows are still magically delicious. I once found a box of Lucky Charms stuck away on a shelf. The cereal bits alas were too stale to eat, but the marshmallows still tasted fine. So of course I carefully picked out all the marshmallows and ate them. Would do it again.
Raisin brand is full of added sugar and refined carbs. They put some raisins in there and made the cereal brown to fool everyone into thinking it’s actually healthy.
Grapenuts either didn't make the list 'cause you haven't had them, or because they're not considered cereal, they're a declaration of war; serving grapenuts is an act of violence, domestic or otherwise.
