- Phantom Drone view of Lake Morris, completed in 1976, is the major water supply for Cairns. The 16 kilometre access road from Reservoir Road to Lake Morris (Copperlode Falls Dam) climbs steadily along the face of the Whitfield Range. Magnificent scenic panoramas can be seen from the lookout points on the road, which passes through various landscapes including pristine rainforest.
