    Wow love this video! Thank you Ken for allowing your home to be shown to us, it is lovely. I really appreciate these tours Randy, it helps us to see how much space there really is in a lived in tiny house and all that can be done by seeing the different ways that the same type/size homes are being used and decorated. I would’ve never thought that you could divide that amount of space into a living room and bedroom. I’ve seen many homes and I heard Randy say it could be done but couldn’t see it until having seen it done in this home. So thank you Randy and Lucas for sharing this with us. Keep the tours like this one coming please! Love and hugs to Manders!😘🙏❤️🌹🌺😊👍

      This was the size I originally planned to get. I was going to have a sofa Murphy bed at one end, and a fold down table in the middle under the window, with a combo w/d below the closet rod (much like Ken did). I love how he made a hanging pot and utensil holder in the kitchen, and his vertical pine board wall treatment in the living area. Anyone can use these ideas and modify them to make them unique. Well done, Ken!!

    Love the outside on this! The inside is done up very well and the Murphy bed is a great idea.
    I just wanted to let you know you had a woman come for a Wednesday tour but she arrived on Monday and thought the gentleman at the guard gate was an employee. She wanted a tour but you Randy were not on site snd the guy at the guard shack went out of his way to show her around. The only hime she could tour was the incredibox that you use for a sales office. After doing her tour she posted on her site that the area was run down, the town was low rent and she showed the junk yard and industrial areas giving the impression that it was not a great place to live. She said the communities were shabby and junk filled and that the area were not very inviting. She insinuated that the “employee” lied to her about the homes were RV approved and gave the impression that tiny homes community was not a very good place to live and was in a low income area. The posting on her site gave people the wrong idea of the tiny homes community and were not very encouraging to someone looking for a tiny home community. It was unfortunate that you were not there to give her a proper tour and fill her in on the advantages of living in this community but the guy did go out of his way to give her a tour even though she showed up two days early. I know you can’t do anything about what she posted on her site but she definitely gave the wrong idea of the tiny home community and the town. I hope in your next video of Q and A you might address this lady and her comments and maybe be more particular to who comes and when for tours as she was not kind in her assessment of your tiny Joe village ad certainly because you were not there did not know of your plans going forward which gave her an incomplete view of your village and an unfair assessment and f the village. I love what you are doing and I happen to love your tiny home village. She also gave the impression that your homes were not built very well nor insulated and would not survive bad weather. I do hope you can address this unfair assessment as people were given the impression that your village was less than desirable. Because you were not there she did not get proper info to pass along to her followers but what she failed to understand that the guard shack guy was not an employee and just was trying to go out of his way to give her a tour but she fired her opinions form incomplete info. Sorry but I wanted you to be aware of what happened so that you could address what was said ad correct the wrong or incomplete and unfair assessment she gave. Keep up the great work as we who follow you know your vision for your village and we see how wrong she was.

      Randy doesn't do Tours, and neither do the Office staff. It's done by volunteers.
      It's also that woman's fault things didn't work out, as she showed up on the wrong day.
      ITH can't control people's actions. But guard volunteers can and should learn the word "NO". This whole incident could've been avoided if she was turned away and told to come back when scheduled.

    • @mariperez9925
      @mariperez9925 Год назад +6

      Wow that’s horrible! Does this person have a tiny home channel? EDIT: Never mind sorry, I did see the video earlier this week but I forgot about it. I thought she had permission from maybe someone in the office. Not cool at all to arrive days early and to video for her own channel. A tour is one thing but to make a video for her own channel without permission is really not ok, whether or not she kept the employees and residents out of it. She could’ve just done a video on the town of Newport Tennessee and left ITH out of it if she wanted to make people aware of how good or bad it is. I’m sure the residents of ITH already knew what the town is like and were happy to move to a small quiet town and anyone planning on moving there will also do research before making the move. 😉

    • @Faithful525
      @Faithful525 Год назад +9

      I loved how so many fans of ITH posted comments correcting her. She sounded like she had her mind already made up before she arrived, hadn't bothered to look at the ITH website at all, and even though she could see with her own eyes the wide variety of tiny home models at ITH, she insisted the Incredibox was all they build. Ignorant (intentionally), lazy, negative woman. I also blocked her. If that's her style of video tour, I want nothing more to do with her.

      I know the Swiffer products are very popular for cleaning, moping, and dusting, as they have long handles for reaching up high, and they take up very little space to store. I also got the wet jet for moping the vinyl floors and it's perfect. Hooks to hang coats when you come in, and in the kitchen to hang pots, towels, utensils, etc on. Furniture that you can use for more than one purpose: bed and sofa with storage below; small storage ottomans that double as extra seating; baskets on shelves to store small items that are decorative and can be pulled out to access more items stored behind them; garbage can small enough to fit below one side of kitchen sink; washable area rugs so you don't need a vacuum cleaner; narrow lamps, like the size for a buffet table, to fit in small spaces & on smaller tables; vented combo washer/dryer so you can use the space above for a hanging clothes rod or pantry shelves; portable convection oven or air fryer oven to save space and electricity; folding chairs &/or tables for guest seating & eating; towel bar or hooks for bathroom wall and toilet paper holder for near toilet; room darkening curtains for bedroom windows, etc.

I love what you did with the color mixing it with the green and stucco. The shaker and trim just adds to the home. Now for the inside of your home it is so quaint. Especially like what you did by putting the divider just at the stove line and providing yourself a little sitting area. It's nice that you talked about the heating and cooling because Randy has always said you could heat it with a candle and cool it with a nice cube. Pretty much do not need to have A Mini split. Can't wait to see more of your inside and outside when you get it completed.
