      Thanks for watching and the comment! I do really like the tires. I did take them in some fairly rocky terrain a few weeks ago and keeping in mind, I was playing, I did end up with a few small missing chunks out of some of the tread. Not a huge deal and I'm not disappointed, just worth noting. Also partially my fault as I only dropped them down to 30psi.

    Ran mine on my 05 silverado for 45k miles. Rotated every 2500 miles with oil change. Till covid hit tires where super quite. But please rotate when I wasent able to due to moving and a bad wheel bearing and when all the shops shut down I drove 20k like that they started howling and due to that wheel bearing issue it killed one of my tires tread wise. I sold it like that but I drove that last weekend with that front tire being basically shot for 18 hours of straight driving in 2 days. Tread was all across the board for 1" of tread to bald. But still drove till it got teaboned a month later after I sold it. Will buy again for sure being pereli based tires.

    • @AGuyandHisProjects
      @AGuyandHisProjects  3 года назад +2

      At the time of this video I hadn't had them in a whole lot of rain. However we just went through our "rainy" season here and I was happy. Did not have any hydroplaning issues at all. That being said the tread is still good on them and I would anticipate the majority of tires with good tread should do pretty good at keeping you on pavement.

  • @petset77
    @petset77 2 года назад +2

    Your review is excellent, however, you actually CAN rotate side to side, but it requires the tires to be removed from the rims. That's a full mount/balance, but just making the point. (I have no problem with a front to back rotation, which lets guys like you and me do it at home). I agree that the side lugs could be more aggressive, but for most people's purposes (including mine), it's not a deal breaker. I'm watching your video as part of research on my next set of muds. These got my attention because of the tread depth of 19/32, and I wanted to see what people think of them. I'm going to be running them in the mountains where I live, and that includes in deep snow on occasion, and sloppy mud on the roads any time it rains. ...anyway, thanks for your review.

I slip a bit in mud. I have a Samurai ('88) for tooling around in the mountains that wears GY Wrangler Duratrac, and those tires stick somewhat better, but are quite a bit more pricey.
