14" on the wheels is measured inside the bead. Outside of the beads will be close to 15". The tire width is measured by the tread. So regardless of the tread width of the tire, the sidewall will stretch to 15" on the outside to match the wheels. The thing making the tires on the 22's appear wider is that its a 14.5 stretched to 15 instead of 15.5 on 15 which will be basically no stretch.
A lot of it is becuase of 24s vs 22s. I’ve had both and when I had 24x14 the tires looked more stretched but when I had 22x14 they aren’t as stretched because of wheel ratio.
I have a gas 2500hd lifted with 20x12s and a tune, cia and straight pipe Turn the key and it goes! If you have 10,000 always in the bank then diesel could Be your option but if you working on a budget just stay with the gas 🤙🏻 Great content brother
is the 33x14.5 on rim size 20inches? whats the widest tires that are 35inches tall or below on 20inch rimes? I have 20x14 rims and my 38x15.5r20 are too big for me I want a smaller tire but like same width or at least same width as the rims which are 14inches wide.
You got the link to where I can buy some tires like yours bro? I’m currently running 35x12.50r22 on my 22x14 and am wanting a more wider tire look to make the look more beefy
Hey brother! I love your videos. Thank you for sharing with us! I have a quick question for you, on your 22 by 14's with the amps, are they stretched at all or do you see any bit of stretching or are they completely square? I've been trying to decide whether to get these or the trail grapplers and there's a huge price difference between the two, I just want a perfectly square look. Thanks for your help!
Most tires aren’t actually sized what they claim I had 31s that only measured 29 and I had 35s that measured 36.5 both measured almost half inch wider than sized
Same with me, wheels also I bought 31 inch Xcomps and they measured in at 30inch with full tread , another story o bought a set of 24x10 denali split 7s 2 weeks ago and they measured in 25.50 in diameter and 11inch in width
It’s funny I was going to use southern retro fit as well and then I heard some really bad stuff about them and then they disappeared completely and now I use NXT LVL CUSTOMS
You just set up higher an a stiffer ride lift it I did a 10 inch lift sitting on 20x37x13.50 no tire stretching here an their federal tires an you miles are 100 thousand on your lml

His Silverado I like so much better because I’m more a black rims guy and more of a Cat eye type of guy I feel like there so much more aggressive

also my tires are milestars MT and some ppl say those tires suck what are your opinions?
Which tires ride best from the amp vs fury?
The rim measurement to the bead is 14 wide but to the outside is 15” on 14 wide rims
You got the link to where I can buy some tires like yours bro? I’m currently running 35x12.50r22 on my 22x14 and am wanting a more wider tire look to make the look more beefy
Are the fury’s 35x15.50?
Not everyone wants tow mirrors I built custom color match mirrors on my 2018 1500 they look good
Everyone now days lies. Tile, pavers, 2x4s. 2x6s. Nothing is true size anymore. And charge it for actual size too.
Most tire brands are not true to size they round up. And also tire stretch or punch matters.

What size lift is on the duramax?
4.5” bds
Keep building, trucks look great. Good hobby for you young guys. Enjoy.
Now what tire rides better and is quite? And what’s the price difference
He’s gonna “kinda paint” his truck.. I guess it’ll be like half new paint half old 🤷🏻♂️ 😂
I remember you making a video of “buying a high mileage truck” and you bought it with 180k and it’s been a year I’ll have to say 208k miles on the lml
Great analysis!
I feel like it’s a big higher up but will have to see haha
Yall youngins chose a great hobby fixin up trucks and cars will keep you occupied and out of trouble
bruh and southern retrofit was repairing a custom set of headlights he built for a friend of mine and then just kept them and the money when he dipped

Tire measurements have to be done before they are mounted.
Regardless they’re both mounted on 14 wide wheels 🤷♂️
That doesn’t matter. They have been driven on and I am sure heated up. This makes the tire softer.
It’s funny I was going to use southern retro fit as well and then I heard some really bad stuff about them and then they disappeared completely and now I use NXT LVL CUSTOMS
Same dude
The height of the tires looks different, maybe thats why the width appear different?
Mines 33s and his is 35s.
Wow! Both awesome truck! But i must say the cat eye takes it 👍
AMP’s for the win! 💪🏼
Measure the same tire off the rim??
Hey man, I'm thinking about lifting my cateye Duramax So I'm just wondering how does it feel to have a lifted truck for your daily driver?
You just set up higher an a stiffer ride lift it I did a 10 inch lift sitting on 20x37x13.50 no tire stretching here an their federal tires an you miles are 100 thousand on your lml
Man your truck looks clean bro. Are you gonna put a billet grill? My guess for the miles is 187,603
What the heck does that kid do for a living to afford all the farkles......How do you guys get away with no flaps with such wide tires?
We get away bc it’s not enforced here.

14 wide wheels Measure 15 inches wide
I am going with 133,750 miles on the LML.
Fury’s are meant to stretch that’s why they aren’t true to size
Fury 15.50 r meant to go on 16 wide rims
The bigger the diameter of wheel or tire. The less wider it looks.
176k miles on the LML
