    I think the carpool system offers great advantages: we save money, we reduce pollution, the traffic is more fluid and therefore less stress and fewer accidents...I believe the idea of sharing things and forgetting a bit of individuality, It should be more supported by all of us for our health and the health of the planet.

    Magnificent lesson plz make more videos about our learning challenges ..I wonder how can I get CELPIP copies I'm from Jordan..and I've got another question If I had a translation test to fulfill translator position in Sri Lanka embassy what kind of advice have got to pass successfully and be quite prominent. ...mark in your estimation how many advanced english expressions must an a professional translator have??plz don't ignore my questions because you're my inspiration teacher

      About the advanced expressions, I have no idea to be honest. Probably thousands of expressions are necessary to be a professional translator!

    Hi there! Well, I just thought in the word "commute" but that word is regarding traveling to point A to point B, normally from house to work and vice versa. I had to find out the right word and I´d say " My colleagues and I normally commute carpooling" I´m not sure whether this is correct or not. Thanks a bunch for your work. Greetings from México.

    Hello Mark, thank you for the nice videos. I was wondering if there is an idiom for "set boundaries with someone". Is there more natural phrase that could be used in a situation where you don't want someone to overstep your limits?

    Where can I take a CELPIP Exam? Is it mandatory?

      It's only necessary for becoming a permanent resident. Most Canadian cities have CELPIP testing centres.

      When i became a permanent resident in Manitoba before moving with my family to Montréal, we weren't issued a CELPIP Exam. I also think they don't offer CELPIP Exams here in Québec because it's French, but I think it would have to be exactly the same but in French.

    Does 'carpool' also mean 'parking lot'? When I use google translate, parking lot is the first translation in the grey box rather than 'share rides'.

    Hi, teacher. 😏
    The vocabulary is the key to improving my English. But is the harder part, because when I learn a new word, if I don't practice it the word, it goes to the beyond to the limbus, hahaha. 😋😏
    I have a theory, when you eat pizzas or donuts, maybe you leave quickly to the gym to burn 1000 calories because I think you get panic, you eat such calories until the regret comes. ooops. 🤔 😉
    My homework.
    The word is already named but check it out: is carpool maybe because of those guys are car-poor hahaha just kidding but really English is hilarious.🙃
    Like go to the work is called "to commute", repeatedly English is an enigma.🙄

    Unfortunately I found out that CELPIP just want to explore testers e make money. They don't fairly score test examers. I found out from a person who works for CELPIP and this person told me that raters do not assess properly. Thanks God I found out otherwise I would be spending thousands of dollars trying to get the scores that I needed. Fortunately, I did the IELTS test and got the scores that I needed to get in order to apply for Canadian PR.

      thiagomanfrors You are describing my situation. I'm gonna take the test for the third time, I've spent a lot of many and resources in classes, material, time practicing and to be honest I'm terrified in failing the test again :( I don't feel my English skills are bad, not the greatest but not bad at all but I keep failing it. If you don't mind, can I ask you some specific questions regarding the difference between both programs? Let me know please which is the best channel to do it :)

      @@deborahbarahona8772 I'm still pissed off with CELPIP, even though I already got my scores. Actually, I tried 3x the test and my scores unbelievably were getting lower. For instance, my speaking test in the first time I've got 8 and on my third test (after 2 months of with non-stoping studies) I've got 6, which I was way way way better than my first speaking test. Well, this was just one example in how unfair they were with me. Regarding the both tests, I'm pretty sure you can rely on IELTS because it's a global test company and not only Canadian, and certainly they cannot mess up with your scores.

      @@deborahbarahona8772 No worries!!. Plus, I also felt IELTS way easier than CELPIP. I'm pretty sure if you take it you'll definitely get ur scores. Now I regret that I should have studied and done the IELTS test since when I began my English studies. What they actually do is not fair and it's illegal. They are taking advantage from foreign people like us to make profit. It will certainly show up some day on the media.

    I don't know what word it is. but i know if you need share rides is because you've not seen my car shop, i have tons and tons of cars to sell to you, only top-notch cars, i bet you are a proactive driver so you need an exquisite machine, i realized you have a charming personality this magnificent bolide with 80 hp matches perfectly with your refined taste, look at this gigantic engine but the price isn't an outrageous, you'll make a substantial investment so show me the money, shake my hand and take this marvelous '74 ford pinto to your house.
