I couldn’t find a credible source for the total money spent on the celebration and so I haven’t included it in the video. However, I’ve found the figure for money spend on various gifts (like offering money to poor sections of society on the birthday), which stand at $5.225 million, adjusted for inflation that would be $111.3 million.
Add $210 Million for Eagle’s Nest to that and the Nazi Germany spent at least $320 Million on Hitler’s 50th Birthday.
Correction : It's not Swastika Symbol
It's Nazi Symbol. Both are different, in their appearance, and meaning, and culture and followers.
It's extremely disrespectful to the Hindu Community by calling the Nazi Symbol as Swastika.
Being a Channel with more than 300k subs, you should act more responsibly.
Brother. I love your videos and I'm sure I'll love this one too, but paused at 2:32 and came to comment here. Please refrain from calling the Nazi symbol as swastika. It was Hakenkreuz. Hitler had himself called it the Hooked cross in his book. A cursory web search will show you that too.
The reason I wanted to bring this to your notice is, Hindus, Jains, Buddhists and Sikhs have been using Swastika as a symbol of peace and good luck for centuries, but are afraid to display it even within their homes and cars (while in western nations) due to it being termed as a Nazi symbol. It hurts when an informative channel like yours too misrepresent the holy symbol.
Nazi symbol Swastika.
Thank you

History does rhyme, Few years after 2,500th anniversary, Shah of Iran regime toppled by Ayatollah 😅

We can all give the worst birthday party to Napoleon. He threw one outside the gates of Smoleńsk when he could have beat the snot out of the Russians, and thus lost his empire.

Rommel also went home to celebrate his wife's birthday while he was in charge of Atlantic wall garrisons during D-day.

That house has to be one of the most amazing house's that is land locked. It's literally at the prime location in a mountain valley region to create a sense of safety and amazing Perspectives. I saw they built a elevator that brings you up to the property. Then then had to make a insanely complicated and winding driveway to get up to the property. It's utterly stunning. Plus it's in Switzerland so that's even better. I've always wanted to go to Norway, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland. Those places facinate me.

Six years later, his birthday party was in the bunker. He killed himself ten days later.
I can understand giving a dagger and maybe a pistol as a gift, but a hand grenade is a bit extreme. Security must have taken that item far away, just to be safe.
Maybe it was an assassin who was trying the make the Fuehrer go boom boom on his birthday.
Holy hand grenade
When you look at this, it's very tragic to realize that Hitler was truly an artist at heart. All this pomp and decoration, the appreciation of the painting and the pistol. He could've been a great artist, but he just couldn't make a portrait to save his fucking life.
Most Nazis had a real flair for the dramatic and visuals. Everything they used had a meaning- the swastika linking them to Persia, the Roman pillars etc
It wasn’t even his planning lol. Gobbels did it.
@@crossroads670 yeah but if you think about it, the presents he got were all made to appeal to his artistic side. The good ones anyway.
ironically, the main reason that he didn't get into art school was because he showed very little interest in human life in his art, and couldn't draw people very well at all. Rather than refer him to therapy, they just told him to become an architect because of his lack of emotion.
his art was quite meh, pretty robotic and lacking any kind of distinct style

You would think an ultra-nationalist like Hitler would have realized that decadence like this is a mark of a society nearing its end, not a sign of its strength.
I mean Nazi still exist they just don't have power so in the end Nazi still kind of live on same with Stalin and Lenin and other dictators as long as their legacy lives on they did not die
All countries did that tbh
agreed... but he may have been even more of an ultra-narcissist.
if you did not know the outcome of WW2, How would you even remotely say that was true? What was on display was arguably some of the best military equipment of their day, when nations put on displays such as this one they are making a statement, not only to the people in their own country but the world, Can't be a sign of financial weakness when things like this likely cost a fortune for those that would hold such an event, in UK the Queen does Trooping the colour, and Britain has been going for a good while, China has recently been posturing with Taiwan which is worrying in more modern times, and let's face it China is also an economic powerhouse, similar to the USA.
@@nonstop9907 I meant the hundreds of millions spent on birthday presents, not so much the military parade.
